I love the whole nursing team so far. I have a lot of health issues and Nurse Glen really helped in advocating for my needs when it came to my meds. He treated me like a person and was very fast and efficient with resolving my issue. I didn't have to wait and he was extremely caring. That was the first time I felt like I was really seen by someone for what I needed. He also has a super nice sooped up truck!

Dr. Fahs has a lot of compassion. He really helped with antidepressants and getting me on the right medication. He will see you any time and he treats me like an individual who is interested in what I'm going through. He is very engaged in my treatment plan instead of going by the book. Some doctors treat everyone like they are the same when really everyone's needs are different. One of my favorite staff members since coming to River Oaks is Jennifer because she is incredibly hard working and an amazing multi-tasker. She is always willing to help with any questions or concerns that I have. She always wants to see people do well and progress. She inspires people on a daily basis with her understanding and passion for recovery. Im so grateful to have known her.

I got here about a month ago and every time Ive needed help TA Iyesha has been there for me. I dropped some of my papers in the hallway one day and she stopped what she was doing to help me clean them up. She has a very friendly attitude and always conducts herself professionally. The entire staff here is very caring and I couldnt have asked for a better experience from the groups, to my therapist, and all the friends I have made along the way.

Mrs. Diana is part of the amazing kitchen staff, she sets up special hot chocolate nights for the holidays and has helped make things very festive for the Christmas season. She was always super nice when she worked on the kitchen line because she always has a smile on her face every time I see her. The kitchen put together nice holiday meals to help make things fun which I really appreciate.

My counselor Karah did not mind telling me things I did not necessarily want to hear. But I needed to hear them. She helped me make so many realizations about the nature of my addiction and the patterns that were playing out in my life. She helped me work through a lot of my childhood trauma, which I never thought I would be able to share with anyone else. She was very friendly and I trusted her to help me through a very difficult time, for which I am grateful.

Classes have been incredible especially with Demetrius doing the men's afternoon classes. His classes have taught me how to not only get sober but how to thrive in business and recovery. He talks to me outside of classes and he is always willing to give personal advice outside of his lessons. he is very approachable. Awesome groups.
