From the moment I got here I felt welcome. The transport people picked me up from the airport and immediately made me feel welcome. Its been a huge help to get clothes because all I had was landscaping stuff when I got here. Mattie helped me tremendously to get everything I needed to be comfortable. It was a great process because she got me in very quickly after my therapist sent an email. I wasnt expecting that. Ive had experiences before at other places where staff has ignored me when I needed something or brushed me off. I was happy I could get my needs met in a timely manner. Dr. Sina is friendly and always available. He's super helpful when it comes to medications and educating on the side effects or other relevant information related to medications. He takes follow up to a higher standard of service and he is great at finding solutions because he is very attentive. I can tell he's genuinely listening to me in our sessions which makes me feel heard and more comfortable to open up. Overall, its a great medical team.
The nursing team is very approachable and professional. They are extremely patient and pleasant to be around. Nurse McKenzie is great at her job and always brings good vibes, even when dealing with a lot of negativity from clients. She keeps things prompt and does not cut corners, she is always reliable which I appreciate.
I have never met a more compassionate doctor than Dr. Amisha. She is always smiling and has a very calming demeanor. She is very efficient and acts fast to find solutions, especially in medical situations that are serious. You can tell that she is very genuine and caring, that she truly cares about her job and the people she is seeing.
I really appreciate the team here especially the techs that help me get things done. Thank you to Robert for being one of the best TAs and getting things done quickly, not messing around, and taking my needs and concerns seriously. You the real MVP!
Therapist Amy makes people feel comfortable enough to begin opening up about things they may have otherwise been afraid to share. She creates a safe space when you are with her because her office is very calming and she has all sorts of cool things you can play with to help distract in hard moments. Edelyn as a therapist has been extremely helpful and insightful because she helps me to understand the purpose and importance of therapy. She explores not just areas of addiction but also the importance of therapy outside of addiction to help address other areas of life like within my family and throughout my childhood, then teaching healthy coping skills and tools I can use that help me address things I hadn't realized may be affecting my addiction. kitchen staff is very sweet. Angie takes her time to ensure clients get what they need, she also ensures that the dining area is clean and she is always smiling with a positive attitude. She knows how to be accommodating and practice real customer service.
