I've been taking my cat to Riverside for four years. The doctors and staff are great and they know to handle my very spoiled kitty. Recently, my cat had a very bad skin allergy and infection. Dr. East and staff at Riverside Animal Hospital South, cleaned and treated my cat several times in order to get rid of her skin problems. They do everything they can to help their little patients. I am very thankful for them this holiday season.
Hands down, the best animal hospital on the UWS. From the moment you walk in the door, you're treated like family, and your pet is treated even better! Can not say enough about the staff, the doctors, the techs.... Just great people. So comforting to know you are just a short distance from my home.
We've been using Riverside (North) for several years now, first with a senior pug who we eventually needed to say goodbye to at sixteen and a half years, and now with two pug puppies. So we've been with Riverside (and in particular Dr. Cawein, although we like everyone there) through a lot - regular check ups, hand-holding through IV fluid administering, counseling for end-of-life treatment until it becomes the wrong thing, tears, and eventually pediatric visits and crazy puppy stuff. I've been coming to Riverside for 5+ years and have always received excellent care: appointment and prescription reminders, hospitality, attention to detail and pet-first mentality, as well as follow up calls. My dog recently had surgery and Andrea worked with/between me, the vets, and my pet insurance to help translate all the medical and insurance info. I would highly recommend Riverside to any pet parents. They are the best!
I came to Riverside for the first time for an emergency involving one of my cats, Eclair. They made time to see us as soon as they opened in the morning, and throughout Eclair's lengthy stay, they provided him with top-notch care. They also called my husband and me several times per day to give us updates. I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful animal hospital in New York, and I'll be bringing all my cats here from now on.
Dr. K is the best! I love the whole staff---the vets, the front desk and the assistants who help in the back with our beloved pets. I trust their devotion to animals and knowledge of the best treatment for them.
