I had my first experience last Sunday due to an emergency with my dog. They said they were booked but when they saw the worry in my eyes they took him. They did an amazing job in helping my dog. I've continued to use them as my main vet. They call the day after to check on your dog. They email you to follow up. They help so much with pricing. This is the best vet I have found for me in the city. The office is clean, the lobby is inviting and dog/cat friendly. The staff is busy, but friendly, and they are always housing either cats and/or dogs who are recuperating or up for adoption. Dr. K is my vet and he is the BEST. Not only is he awesome with my dog, he is also kind to me and remembers me and what is going in my world for each visit. I live in the city part time and bring my pets back and forth with me. I have called Riverside on many occasions over the years with pet emergencies. They have consistently been kind, knowledgeable and very caring toward my pets and me. The practice is always open and an appointment available when I need them. I can't praise them enough and highly recommend Riverside Vets.
My wife, two Labradors and I recently moved onto the same block as Riverside Animal Hospital. In addition to being incredibly convenient, the vet practice was recommended to me by several co-workers who bring their dogs there. Our two dogs couldn't be more different. One is a 2 year old extrovert who loves everyone. The other is a rescue, about 8 years old, with major fear-based aggression issues. I cannot even begin to say how much I appreciate all the Doctors and Staff of Riverside Animal Hospital for the incredible attention they had towards my Puppy Bailey. She was brought into the Hospital with Parvo after just having her for Two weeks... My family and I were devastated with the news that my puppy would probably not make it through the night because of this horrible virus. My family has visited Riverside for the past 4 years for care of our dog. Unfortunately, he has since passed away due to Congestive Heart Failure. Every single time we took him there, he was treated with genuine love and kindness. Riverside staff treated him as if he was their own. I recently had two different appointments with Dr. K at Riverside Animal. He has been our family vet for almost 20 years. Having not been up there for a couple months I was struck by a few things that I noticed with fresh eyes. I was immediately greeted by several staff who were all warm and welcoming. I just want to give a shout out to Dr. K and his team at Riverside Animal Hospital for the care they give to my little guys - Oliver and Ferdinand. I've been going to them for many years now. Both of my cats have serious health challenges, though you'd never know it to look at them. What I like especially about Dr. K is his willingness to consider alternative treatments, along with regular meds and to listen to any suggestions I might have in that area. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Riverside Animal Hospital. I have been bringing my pets there for years and have recommended many friends to bring their pets there as well . The tender, loving care that is provided each "patient" whether there for a check up or for treatment is outstanding.
