I don't write too many reviews, but after reading some atrocious reviews on here I feel the need to put my 0.02 cents in. I have been taking my pets to Riverside since they were on 100th street (At least 20 years) and have never had a bad experience. Reading some of the complaints by other people (being charged for a nail trim or a stool sample). If you took your pet to a groomer and asked for a nail trim, would you expect it for free? Wrote a review of my vet a while ago my daughter just started using them came back from an appointment went to show her my Yelp since I am new at this. Really got yelp for Restaurants. Looked like my review disappeared. I found it on my list when I signed on. Daughter loves going to Dr. K. he is great with her dog Chuckie. Staff friendly makes you feel very comfortable. We now have three cats Lucy (kitten) Garfield and Stewie (profile pic grey) - they are all related and all looked after by this vet. Vet visits are expensive but these vets are excellent and always follow up.

I've never written a review on Yelp before but after seeing all the negative reviews about Riverside Animal Hospital, I just had to write one. Riverside Animal Hospital is the BEST doctor's office I have ever been to (for humans or pets). All of the receptionists, assistants and doctors absolutely love animals and truly make a huge effort to make all pets and people feel comfortable. Keep in mind that most people only use YelpTo complain. I love Riverside. They are the best vet I've ever used. When I moved, I started going to a vet a little closer just for routine stuff. Then, one of my cats got really sick and these other uptown vets were thoroughly inept. I ran back to Riverside--they took care of the problem, were great with Matilda, and I've only been back to them ever since. I can't say enough nice words about the vets and staff at Riverside Animal Hospital who gave care and support to our 15 year old toy poodle in January in the last two weeks of his life. Our dog, Dante, had had a pretty healthy life until his last year, luckily, and we were minimalists when it came to check-ups, etc. So we were infrequent visitors to Riverside Animal Hospital. I've been taking my beloved dog, Dante, to Riverside Animal Hospital for 15 years. We've received nothing but great care for all 15 years, from the time he was a 5 lb, bright eyed puppy. The staff and the vets are all very nice and attentive. Most importantly, they couldn't have treated my sweetest little poodle any better. Yesterday, we had to put my dog to sleep. RAH is the best Vet clinic I've had. My 11 yr old Yellow Lab and I have lived all over the US. Yes, it can be expensive, it's New York, but they are always proactive with accurate and honest estimates. My old dog is the healthiest and happiest he's been in over six years. I recently boarded him and they took great care. Even called the day after I picked him up to follow up. I was hesitant after reading some of yelps reviews, but after these first 6 months I needed to speak up with 5 stars.

We have an awesome golden retriever who kept getting infections that other vets couldn't cure. It affected her physically and emotionally - she was really sad. We found Riverside Animal because of PetAssure and they ended up being the best vet we have ever used - including Atlanta and Chicago. The entire staff and Doctors are amazing. They found the cause of the issues and we think they cured everything. We are so happy to see the improvements in our girl. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pets.
