every one with the ******** location has been great. The VIP program has been great. I was charged the initial charge of $19.95 for first year. I was not refunded to my account as told but instead was issued as a credit which I applied to the new shoes I purchased. I recently had to return a previous shoes within the 90 days exchange and had a great experience to be able to select other shoes that were much more suited to my feet better. I see that others have complained about being charged a $39.99 annual membership fee without realizing there was a charge, and not being notified of the charge. This happened to me as well when I noticed a charge on my credit card posted at 4 a.m. yesterday morning. My last purchase was some five months ago, the only one in the last two years, though as I was told when I called them, I had been their customer for 27 years, buying about one pair of shoes a year. Website claims to have 90 day fit guarantee easy returns. They do not clearly state that online returns cost a fee. Its hidden in the small print and you dont see the amount until you actually start the return. It feels very deceptive. Called and talked to customer service *** and they were not helpful. Sent an email and got an automated AI response.

They are such scammers! I bought a pair of shoes from them but then a year later they charge my cc an annual membership. I disputed my case but my bank sided with the merchant. I do NOT have a membership with them nor ever signed up with an email. They just charged what ever cc was on file.

I was signed up for a recurring charge - a "VIP membership" - 3 years ago at the point of sale without my knowledge. After seeing the charge on a recent statement I called to dispute. They refused to refund the charges, even after I made it clear I had been signed up for this service w/o my knowledge.This as at the ** PDX location, on or around Aug 2023.

I was improperly charged for a membership renewal that I had already paid for. In addition, I was overcharged for sneakers and received the incorrect pair. A manager acknowledged this was a company error and upgraded me to VIP status, yet my card was kept on file without my consent. When I contacted customer service, the associate rudely just cancelled my membership that I paid for and told me I forfeited $75.00 credit from my last visits! Road Runner Sports Is running a scam they have fraudulently charged my credit card. They have not let me use promised rewards cash. Don't buy anything from these thieves. Their VIP rewards program is a complete con.

I received an email that I was being charged ***** for a VIP membership in November 29, 2024 and just caught it for November 29, 2025 When I go to my account, it states that I am not a VIP member, going to file a claim.
