Watch out for their membership renewal charges on your credit card.I signed up for 1 year individual membership for $20, and they took the liberty this year to UPGRADE my membership to a Family plan and charged me $49 without my consent. The Loyalty membership is no worth the hassle they put you through.
I signed up for a Road Runner Sports membership in 2024. I last went to the ****, ** location 8/2/25 and used my membership rewards and paid via debit card. On 9/16/25, I suddenly have a pending charge on my debit card for $99.99 which is the rate of their premium membership (even though I already have a membership). They continue to charge credit cards for VIP program despite never authorizing the program and calling multiple times to have it cancelled. I don't understand how this is legal after you ask them to cancel the plan and they confirmed they have but then they charge again. This is also terrible business model as we will never shop there again. They literally have a 1 star review rating on here but still has a BB rating of A+. huh?
Although the foot analysis is helpful the store clerks werent and the companies policies are not customer centric whatsoever. Limited a stock and lack of knowledge from the associates led to my order being messed up and now me being stuck with a gift card on a brand that I do not want to spend on. Please steer clear of this brand as far as you can and shop somewhere else.
Buyer beware!!!! My card was charged for a VIP membership even though I never signed up for this and never agreed to the charges. I called and found out it was because I used my boyfriends membership to purchase shoes under. His card had since been closed therefor they used whatever other card has been used for purchases under his membership. I echo what all the others are saying about this program. It is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. I have been on hold for two whole days trying to get to a person to cancel the account. I was charged $99 twice on my credit card after they told me in the store that I had already been cancelled. DO NOT SIGN UP for VIP. They need to be investigated and punished for this scam of a system!
Only give 1 star because ar least 1 is required. Road Runner is a money making machine before customer first. DO NOT sign up for VIP. I have been unable to cancel using means in instructions. I ensured I was cancelled in the store but still got charged for the next year. After speaking to someone on the phone I was ensured I was cancelled and reimbursed. Whatever you do DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR VIP PROGRAM. Bought a pair of shoes over a year ago, and they sold me on the VIP program to get a discount on my shoes.
