The store signed me up for the store's loyalty program which I did not approve. Charged my card $49.99 - once I disputed the charge they credited the account. Now months later, ONCE AGAIN they have charged my card $49.00 and I am having to dispute the charge. Obviously the employees work on commission. Never shopping there again! Buyer beware!!!

two separate occasions charged for vip, this happened at two different stores, years apart. I make a purchase using a vip account not related in any way to my credit card and then a few months later a random charge comes in this time for ***** causing me to cancel my credit card. This is literally crazy!!

Unfortunately, I signed up for Roadrunners VIP program 2 years ago for Christmas purchases. I canceled it 1 year ago but recently discovered they never canceled it. When I called about it recently, they admitted there was a problem with canceling online and canceled it for me. I was scammed out of $49 by the ************************************ location. I purchased a running arm band for a cell phone and then one year later get hit with an automatic $49.99 membership fee. It was the only time I was ever in that store. I never consented to a membership and it wasn't even mentioned to me. It took a long time to finally speak with an operator at Road Runner. She said they would cancel the membership and refund my money, but there was no apology offered and she acted like I must have signed up for it... read more

We bought a pair of running shoes in 2021. Without knowing we were signed up for the VIP club. Also without our consent we have been charged yearly $69.99. Surprisingly, we were charged a recurrent charge to our debit account from an expired debit card for this membership. We managed to have our bank block the most recent transaction and we were able to get a refund for this year's attempt. We called Road Runner and were on hold for 2 hours with no response. Roadrunner created a new account using a fake email address and charged for an annual renewal without my consent using my wifes credit card number. This has been an ongoing issue for several years using several credit cards and several fake accounts.

The company kept canceling my orders and despite calling several times to inquire about the reason, I was never told why until today when I was informed that there was an Apple Pay failure and since they shipped the shoes (which I never received) they would cancel all my orders past June of 2022. Road Runner Sports never informed me that there was a charge for being a member nor was there any indication anywhere that I was to be charged and I noticed it only when the charge appeared on my CC. When I tried to call to cancel, I was on hold for 56 minutes before getting to a **** who then refunded the charge but this is a total scam and they have lost any future business from me

I've been buying shoes from them for over 40 years. The last couple of years the service has been horrendous and very and frustrating. No one ever answers the phone when you have an order. I've been waiting 2 days to get a call back back on an order. They have also messed up my account on several occasions and they still can't get it right. It may cost a few dollars more but I might as well order shoes from Amazon. I used to recommend them to all my running friends over the past 40 years, but never again
