Got quotes from several companies including sunpower, la solar, tesla and a few others. Tesla would not do custom-configured installs and would only install a 7kW system when I needed 11kW so they were excluded. sunpower was a magnitude more expensive even though they do general alot more power with the same size panel. In the end it came down to LA Solar and Solar Optimum. I started looking for solar company mid September 2020, called several companies. Price wise, Solar Optimum is very competitive and their products and warranty is very good so I decided to go with them. Signed contract in October and had site inspection and final design of the project a week or so after but took a little longer from the city to released the permit due to covid 19 situation.
