I met with a few companies and took notes on all. I was able to cross some out when comparing the materials they used but it came down to Solar Optimum and some of the larger companies like Sunrun. I had solar on my house already when I moved in but was still paying a rather hefty bill. My current system was just no providing me the energy I needed. I spoke with Will at Solar Optimum and was able to install a new system to add to my offset. I was finally able to cut out my utility bill and enjoy all my solar production.
When I started to search about green energy, the result was Solar Optimum. They installed thirty Panasonic 330W after checking the roof. After purchasing my new electrical car, they added EV charger and Tesla Powerwall Battery for me. Now I have a complete solar system for my car and home, also I save a lot money on my electrical payments. I really recommend this company if you like to save your money with solar installation.
My first impression with them wasn't pleasant. I tried twice setting up schedule for Solar Optimum to call me to discuss their quote (the quote was submitted via energysage.com). But I didn't receive any calls from their reps at the appointment time. When I messaged them online, they said their record shown someone had talked to me. This is bad. We contacted Solar Optimum for quote after having already talked to several other installers and Solar Optimum is clearly a step above the rest. It was a no-brainer for us to sign with them for our solar system. We had a 6kW Panasonic system installed on our home to save money because we are a family of five and we use a lot of electricity. After we had our system installed, we actually noticed a huge difference almost right away.

We decided to complete a major remodel on our home last winter and wanted to have it done before the inclement weather was back. We met with Solar Optimum to get a quote on solar system and found that we could have our roof and MSP upgraded at the same time allowing us to save some money in the long run. We decided to pull the trigger and were able to get most of our upgrade completed with the one company which made it easy for us
The overall experience was good. They were able to answer all of my questions about the contract. They performed the work quickly although Covid caused expected delays. The price was good and the warranty is great. There was some lack of communication on some steps. They were supposed to tell me when my parts were being delivered and I didn't hear anything until the delivery driver was knocking at my door.
