As an Environmental Scientist, I wanted to go solar when I moved to Landers, CA in the High Mojave Desert. This company was great, they took care of everything and all I had to do was sign a few forms. They installed the system for our small San Diego home last year, during the COVID lockdown. I was concerned but everything went smoothly and we essentially just pay SDG&E a small amount for gas each month. I got a small hot tub and we run it all the time, but it costs us pretty much nothing. I initially had a poor experience with excessive marketing messages in Energysage (I am deleting it now because it is no longer relevant), but after leaving a negative review I was very surprised to receive a direct phone call from Solar Optimum's VP of Marketing to understand better what happened, and to apologize for the issues. It was a great experience communicating with all Solar Optimum’s team over the phone and e-mails. I couldn’t ask anything better than this. They also help me provide a side quote for future panel expansions and addition of back-up battery system. The process was smooth and hiccup free completed within the scheduled period of completion. I originally signed with another company to install a solar system but things didn't work out with them. I won't mention names but they were terrible and their customer service was so poor. I did more research and came across Solar Optimum thanks to a co-worker's recommendation. Glad I did. Process went smoothly and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. Compared to the other solar company I worked with originally, Solar Optimum deserves a 10 star, not just a 5.
Solar Optimum was very helpful and friendly during the entire process of going solar at my home. Everything was done and installed as promised. My family is happy we did it and we highly recommended Solar Optimum.
I was referred to Solar optimum by my parents who went solar last year at their home in Irvine. My rep Jeff was nothing short of amazing. He really knows his stuff and recommended a 5.5 W system using Panasonic. I'm still on the fence of getting the Enphase home battery so that might be something I look in to before next summer. I would definitely recommend the Solar Optimum team.
I was a little apprehensive about solar. A few of my neighbors got solar systems installed and so I started to look into it. I called Solar Optimum and they turned out to be a lot more knowledgeable and helpful with all of my questions. I signed with Solar Optimum and my system will be installed in a couple of weeks. Great customer service and very friendly staff. I'll be sure to write a follow up review once the system is up and running.
Solar Optimum was my 5th installer that I spoke to for solar for my home. After speaking with both Alyssa and Ben, I was sold on their service and warranty. I can't wait for the summer weather to warm up now that my system has been installed.
