Overall experience with Solar Optimum has been great. Cory and his team helped to design, build and deliver an efficient solar system without any delay. All communications were responded quickly and dealt with. Right from initial sales discussions to post-install, Cory has been great in addressing all questions and concerns.
We selected Solar Optimum to install our solar system and battery storage late November and we were glad we did. Great attention to detail, excellent service and best warranty on our new system. We've already referred two of our neighbors to Solar Optimum.
UPDATE: Solar Optimum reached out with a written promise to move the panels and repair any subsequent damage if and when we decide to put a skylight in. I feel much better about working with them. Overall, Solar Optimum did a good job installing solar for a good price. They installed 19 Panasonic 370W panels with Enphase IQ7+ microinverters and a UniRac racking system. I chose them over other installers as they had good pricing, I wanted to go with microinverters and SolOpt had very good reviews. The entire process took 3 months from signing to PGE PTO (permission to operate) which is pretty much what they said. Two problems arose during the project. Most cost effective pricing received.
Had a couple hickups but it is quality solar install. Neighbors have noticed the high quality of the install and have mentioned it in passing.
We signed a contract on June 25th and had our solar system complete and turned on on Sept. 20th. At every step of the way Solar Optimum employees as well as the local contractors who installed the panels were professional, helpful and skilled. I had all questions answered promptly. They handled all permits that were needed. Even with a two week wait for approval from our HOA, the job moved along without any delays. I was happy with the overall experience from solar optimum team during design, installation and final city approval phases. They were very prompt and responsive during these periods. My solar system contains Panasonic panels and Enphase system for micro inverter and monitoring. Initially they have not installed the consumption CTs (to monitor the energy consumption). So when I checked about that and they said there was no space in my main service panel for the installation of the CTs, so their technicians couldn't install it... read more
