I started researching solar and spoke to 3 other companies before selecting Solar Optimum. They were the most knowledgeable and carried only the top of the line with Panasonic panels and Enphase. Covid 19 slowed things down a bit on the permission to turn on our system but overall, great experience with the team at Solar Optimum.
Solar Optimum is an installation vendor who specializes in solar panel system installation, including installing battery backup units. My wife and I selected their quote from a list of vendors because they offered quality products at a reasonable price. I learned of the NEM 3.0 proposal and decided to do solar right away. Given I was planning to do next year, I had not done much research so Energysage was a great place to start. Overall experience with Solar Optimum has been great. Cory and his team helped to design, build and deliver an efficient solar system without any delay. All communications were responded quickly and dealt with. Right from initial sales discussions to post-install, Cory has been great in addressing all questions and concerns.
We selected Solar Optimum to install our solar system and battery storage late November and we were glad we did. Great attention to detail, excellent service and best warranty on our new system. We've already referred two of our neighbors to Solar Optimum.
UPDATE: Solar Optimum reached out with a written promise to move the panels and repair any subsequent damage if and when we decide to put a skylight in. I feel much better about working with them. Overall, Solar Optimum did a good job installing solar for a good price. They installed 19 Panasonic 370W panels with Enphase IQ7+ microinverters and a UniRac racking system. I chose them over other installers as they had good pricing, I wanted to go with microinverters and SolOpt had very good reviews. Had a couple hickups but it is quality solar install. Neighbors have noticed the high quality of the install and have mentioned it in passing.
