I have a solar system with enphase panels and a Tesla powerwall, and to all indications it is working well. I found Solar Optimum to be reasonably communicative. The process was longer than I expected it would be when starting, but that's a combination of a lot of factors. I had sales people coming to my door promoting solar and received 2 quotes to install solar at my home in early 2021 but was not happy with the prices so I did some research and found Energy Sage and in September 2021 I received several quotes to compare. Initially, we really liked Solar Optimum. They seemed to be a reputable company, and their estimate of 90 days to have the system up and running is in line with their competitors. Also, the equipment they were marketing was first-rate. So we decided to go with them…until we got the contract. Solar Optimum was good with Quote price and kept me updated with the steps . This was for install in San Ramon, CA. There are many departments so you do have to interact with different team members ,but in general they are proactive and had was in the ballpark timeline. Got quotes from Cory McKenna in early Feb and PGE approved PTO in May 2022. Most of the delays were due to City Permit and PGE. Prior to start this project, I asked several people who had solar panels in their house. All of them told me that it was simple task and they had nothing to do except paying the bill. I Googled solar in my area and that's How I came across Solar Optimum. Nice work and clean installation from the staff at Solar optimum. Very happy I made the decision with Panasonic solar panels instead of the some other second tier brands that other companies offered. If you're going to go solar, does it make sense to not pick the best product and warranty? Can't say enough good things about this company.
