My house was in need of renovations. When I started my search I found that I could add a lot of work onto my house and enjoy a large tax break. After talking with Mark I learned that my roof and electrical could also be upgraded. It was an easy decision from their. I was able to upgrade much of my home and install solar. It has been running smoothly since I put them on a few months ago and the savings have been great. I advise anyone looking into any upgrades call Solar Optimum.
Solar Optimum worked with me to design a system with panels on 3 different roofs, including moving some existing panels to put on a new roof before the installation (for about half the cost that the original installer quoted). They also worked to get PG&E to approve a main panel upgrade that was tricky because of limits on the underground wiring from the street to the house dating from the 1970s. I'm so glad I went with Solar Optimum. I search for some time for a contractor. I found these folks fairly priced and provided great service and support along the way. Ryan contacted me to provide a quote and answered all my questions in a timely manner and continued to be responsive even after I signed the contract and did my downpayment. I had met with a few companies before my neighbor recommended Solar Optimum to me. I decided to add one more to my list and am glad I did. They provided a wealth of information that was missed in my previous appointments. Along with the tax credits and rebates available I thought it was best to go with the company that knew the more and truly were experts. I got my system installed in less than 2 months and was glad I talked with my neighbor.
These guys at Solar optimum are awesome. I was happy to give them business. Best part of system is Tesla Powerwall battery.
I had done a ton of research and knew exactly what I wanted. Did not want to deal with many companies and get the run around. First company I called was Solar Optimum. They were able to get me exactly what I needed--Panasonic panels, enphase micro inverter and the Tesla Powerwall 2.0. The system was installed at my home mid May and so far, I'm overly pleased, Let's see how the summer months go.

I started looking into Solar after hearing about possible black outs during COVID. It was bad enough as is, I can't imagine staying at home with the electricity shut off. Solar Optimum crew was really nice and took into account the social distancing by giving us zoom conference which I had never done but was really great being able to do it as if he was in my living room.
