Solar Optimum worked closely with us through a lengthy approval process with the City Design Board, due to the house being on the registry. It was the first time a registry home had solar installed and they made sure the visual integrity of the house and neighborhood were preserved according to the required standards. Solar Optimum did an excellent job installing our solar system! They are by far the best solar company in California, and we highly recommend you call them if you are considering getting a solar system on your home. Alex took the time to explain and educate us about which system would be the best solution for our needs, and we couldn't be more pleased with how he treated us. To be fair, Solar Optimum had just recently started doing business in Northern California in Summer 2019 when I contracted with them for a home rooftop solar installation. At the time they had very good reviews from customers in Southern California but none in the Bay Area. I had my solar system installed by solar optimum about 4 years ago. They were very efficient, the installation was seamless and the system is still working great without any problems ever. I highly recommend this company
Solar Optimum itself was great, but the installers they hired were a nightmare. It was a fight to get the system installed within months of when it was originally promised. They failed multiple inspections with the City and I ended up calling the permitting office directly to sort out the issues that were preventing the project from being approved & it was clear the installers were being dishonest with what they were telling me in person was holding the project up.
