Great bunch of folks to work with. They are very friendly and straightforward, and I got an estimate quickly after calling them. They took care of everything from the moment I signed with them, and they were great at keeping me up-to-date. The installation happened last week, and I am very pleased about the seamless process. Sean, our solar rep, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered every question we had about the estimate we received from him. During the process, which took about 2 months total, he was always there with updates! I bought my solar system through Solar Optimum about 10 months ago, and it is working perfectly! I chose Solar Optimum because my friend had recommended them to me, and they lived up to everything he told me about them. I wasn't super clear on what solar was or how I could benefit. I noticed a lot of homes in my neighborhood had these systems installed on their roof. After some research I met with a few companies. They all come in quick to sell me something I still wasn't sure I needed. The final appointment I had setup was with a local installer, Solar Optimum. I shopped around for a couple of months before choosing Solar optimum. They had the best warranties and best reviews and even though another company promised a faster installation, I felt much more comfortable in the hands of Solar Optimum. I would rather have a quality team working with me than some quick solution that will not work well in the end. I give them bonus points for being honest and realistic. I have had my solar panels for almost four month, and I have no complains.
UPDATE: the work was completed Jan 16th after the utility installed the meter and provided PTO. Alex Rosa was helpful in resolving all the issues I previously ran into through installation. Johnny from the subcontractor team was exceptional in resolving issues due to miscommunication during the process. I was actually walking through my neighborhood on the way to the market when I noticed Solar Optimum truck. I asked some questions to the techs who directed me to call the company. I spoke to a sales person who helped me set up my appointment with Ted. We went over my proposal and he waled me through a lot of the questions I had. My system went up with few delays mostly from the city. I love the system I have and the futuristic look and feet of my home. Thank you again.
