UPDATE: the work was completed Jan 16th after the utility installed the meter and provided PTO. Alex Rosa was helpful in resolving all the issues I previously ran into through installation. Johnny from the subcontractor team was exceptional in resolving issues due to miscommunication during the process. Since the process takes so many steps, be prepared and understand everything involved with solar installation regardless of what provider you choose. I was actually walking through my neighborhood on the way to the market when I noticed Solar Optimum truck. I asked some questions to the techs who directed me to call the company. I spoke to a sales person who helped me set up my appointment with Ted. We went over my proposal and he waled me through a lot of the questions I had. My system went up with few delays mostly from the city. I love the system I have and the futuristic look and feet of my home. Thank you again.
I'm Very happy with my PV system from Solar Optimum. It was installed in June, and I've been waiting to write this review until it had been up and running for while. After doing research for over 6 months, we finally found Solar optimum. Our representative understood exactly what we wanted from our very first meeting, and once we signed with them, it was smooth sailing from there. We experienced nothing but great knowledge, a polite and honest crew and great customer service. We actually don't have one single negative thing to say about our experience, so we definitely are recommending Solar Optimum!!
I was referred by Solar Optimum by my neighbor George who installed a beautiful Panasonic solar system on their home. He highly recommended that I contacted and meet with a couple of solar companies including Solar Optimum. The rep that I worked with was Mark who answered all of my questions and really made me understand the benefits of solar and the battery storage. The company seems to be having some growing pains. They seem like a good company based on the multitude of positive reviews but appear to have taken on more projects than they are capable of managing in an orderly fashion. After a couple months of poor communication and long delays and setbacks, the management reached out to me in response to a negative review. Got off on the wrong foot a little but appreciate that they got back quickly and addressed a lot of concerns. I can tell they're quickly growing, but when I do have interactions with them it is professional and friendly.
Going solar was an easy choice for us. We had a tremendous bill we paid to the utility monthly and it seemed the only direction it was moving was higher up. We met with a few companies and finally decided to go with Solar Optimum. They had a great record to start with and after meeting with Sean soon found out why they were so trusted. He presented me with all the facts I needed to make my decision. The install was smooth, my system went up with ease and has since allowed me to wonder why I hadn't pulled the plug before.
Solar Optimum installed our system last September and we have not had any problems since then. In fact, we love seeing the saving on our utility bills. The Process went perfectly smooth, and even after the installation, Solar Optimum was ready to answer some technical questions we had. We appreciate the level of service they've shown us, and we recommend Solar Optimum to anyone who might want to go solar too.
