Service was very slow, even though not crowded. Some tables received more attention than us. Mignonette sauce with oysters bland. One of our favorite restaurants, disappointing visit

My husband and myself always get the Prime Rib as it is the best ever, juicy, tender and the ice cream sunday made by the young boy who used to were the best. We raved about this to our friends and we all went for our anniversaries. Well the Prime Rib came and it was less then half the size we split before and it was really tuff and not juicy. They were short staffed. The Shriners convention was in town and it overwhelmed them. Out server was great though. I didn't get her name. The bartender was horrific. I ordered an old fashioned and it was orange. Our drinks came after salads and the wine we ordered for dinner. We used to go to Roxy every time we were in town. The menu has changed. A lot has been taken out. We don't want to go to Ruth Chris. Unfortunately, Roxy has become another victim in Caesar's corporate takeover. It ruined a good thing!

We were seated next to a table of 20. They were only 1 foot away from us. They made any conversation impossible. We asked to be moved. 10 feet away there were empty tables, which would have been much better, but we were told we could not move. One empty booth was still empty when we left. We did have reservations. Our food was delivered very quickly and our waiter was terrific. Made reservation months ago for a table out of the way for an anniversary dinner with friends. They seated us on a busy walkway by a door to the open sushi bar courtyard/casino area. Very noisy. Sat for over half an hour with menus before anyone addressed us. Ordered drinks, sat another HOUR before they took our orders. Took 4 hours to get out of there. They are extremely expensive for everything being ala cart. $90+ for a ribeye that is choice, not prime. Verified by the chef. $45 for a whisky old fashioned in a small cheap... read more

We had a party of 4 for an early dinner. The staff members were very polite and accommodating. We enjoyed excellent fillets, the pork loin and the curry chicken. All were incredibly delicious along with the wine. We also shared the shishito peppers as an appetizer and the Roxy Sunday for dessert.

We eat here every time while in Reno. It's always been an excellent experience, but this time was a disaster. The lobster tail was underdone, kind of rubbery and seemed waterlogged or previously frozen. They brought out a replacement and while cooked through, it wasn't that much better in terms of quality. All of our hot food dishes arrived luke warm to cool like they had been sitting around for a while in the kitchen. The entire wait staff was inattentive from our waiter to the busser. We were first time guests at this restaurant as we were attending a concert . Checked in with the hostess & she made us wait 15 min to be seated. Not a great start. The server was extremely dull & 100% non attentive. Extremely slow service all the way around. We had to actually ask another server to eventually get our bill! I ordered the prime rib & it honestly was the worst I have ever had! Thin, overcooked & tasteless in a plate of au jus. Had to ask for salt & pepper for potato(none on our minute 2 top). Service person was quick, efficient and very nice. Food not enjoyable. Oysters Rockefeller had no flavor of Pernod and not well made. Crab cake swimming in sauce and little crab in cake. Take a pass. Very excellent piano player in bar area.
