I go to Roxy’s every time I am in Reno. Tonight it was just off. My lamb chops were way over cooked and everyone’s food came out very cold. Manager tried to make it right but it just wasn’t a good night.

We have been there before but this time, started out good we ordered an appetizer and drinks, our waitress send she would be right back to take our order well she took all or her large tables first and dissipated for a bit after 30 minutes we ask for the check and told her why, my wife has medical issues and she had to get some food quickly, so we got and paid the check and left not sure if we will be back to bad because the food is very good here.

It took 45 minutes to get sat at a table with a reservation made a month prior. Server forgot our side dish, and the entee was finished when it showed up after having to ask the busser for it because the server never returned to check on us.

This was our third time dining at Roxy Reno. It will be our last. Weeks in advance I reserved a 7:15 dining time. We arrived at 7:10 and it was utter chaos at the entrance. We have been to Roxys several times but this time was a disappointment. We had reservations for 2 for 7:45pm. We went to check in and they were quit busy which was understandable. We were told that they were behind and that they would text when table was ready. It was almost an hour and we has not heard back from them. We had to wait a while for our entrees and was not informed that they were delayed. Then our food was not hot. The plates were but my baked potato didn’t even melt the butter I used on it. We had dinner there previously and everything was great but this time everything was poor. ☹️

Service was just ok, they were far too busy for so few servers and everyone was really frazzled. The restaurant is not as nice as I thought it would be, very cramped, poor quality table linens, everything just felt a little tacky, even for a casino. The restaurant is definitely showing it's age. Well I have heard nothing but good things from a friend of mine about Roxy. Unfortunately that was not my experience. The food was acceptable not stellar, but we felt like we were forgotten patrons. I rarely write a review, but I don't feel this is the place for a special night...

We had a reservation for 9 so we showed up 15 minutes early. The hostess told us it would be a little longer since they were busy. She took down my name and phone number and would let us know when our table would be ready. Half an hour later we went back to the front to check and we were told it would be another 20-30 minutes.
