We were first time guests at this restaurant as we were attending a concert . Checked in with the hostess & she made us wait 15 min to be seated. Not a great start. The server was extremely dull & 100% non attentive. Extremely slow service all the way around. We had to actually ask another server to eventually get our bill! I ordered the prime rib & it honestly was the worst I have ever had! Thin, overcooked & tasteless in a plate of au jus. Had to ask for salt & pepper for potato(none on our minute 2 top). Service person was quick, efficient and very nice. Food not enjoyable. Oysters Rockefeller had no flavor of Pernod and not well made. Crab cake swimming in sauce and little crab in cake. Take a pass. Very excellent piano player in bar area.

I go to Roxy’s every time I am in Reno. Tonight it was just off. My lamb chops were way over cooked and everyone’s food came out very cold. Manager tried to make it right but it just wasn’t a good night.

We have been there before but this time, started out good we ordered an appetizer and drinks, our waitress send she would be right back to take our order well she took all or her large tables first and dissipated for a bit after 30 minutes we ask for the check and told her why, my wife has medical issues and she had to get some food quickly, so we got and paid the check and left not sure if we will be back to bad because the food is very good here.

It took 45 minutes to get sat at a table with a reservation made a month prior. Server forgot our side dish, and the entee was finished when it showed up after having to ask the busser for it because the server never returned to check on us.

This was our third time dining at Roxy Reno. It will be our last. Weeks in advance I reserved a 7:15 dining time. We arrived at 7:10 and it was utter chaos at the entrance. We have been to Roxys several times but this time was a disappointment. We had reservations for 2 for 7:45pm. We went to check in and they were quit busy which was understandable. We were told that they were behind and that they would text when table was ready. It was almost an hour and we has not heard back from them. We had to wait a while for our entrees and was not informed that they were delayed. Then our food was not hot. The plates were but my baked potato didn’t even melt the butter I used on it. We had dinner there previously and everything was great but this time everything was poor. ☹️

Service was just ok, they were far too busy for so few servers and everyone was really frazzled. The restaurant is not as nice as I thought it would be, very cramped, poor quality table linens, everything just felt a little tacky, even for a casino. The restaurant is definitely showing it's age.
