I always enjoy this restaurant whenever we are in Reno. The food is fabulous and the service is top notch. My only complaint this time would be that my food took along time. My mom and I were the first people seated in our dining area. Four tables were seated after us. They all received their food before us. Our food arrived 20 minutes after the first table that was served. We ordered Ahi and steak. The wine flights are lovely and I would recommend them. Also the bacon and cheddar bread is delightful!
Roxys is worth your time! Great venue!
Meyer lemon souffle is to die for(remember to order at beginning of your meal as it takes 35 min)...the rasberry lemonade martinis were okay, not great and missing sugar on rim. I had escargot and french onion soup and both were delicious!
upon arrival we were promtly seated in the Bistro room - small, dark and quiet, even as it filled. Much better than the turret room which is very loud due to it's round design. Prompt service, the bread girl was delightful, remembering my desire for their cheese/bacon bread (their sesame isn't bad either). Nice atmosphere, great food, exceptional service.
We both ordered a steak and salad that was very good with good service.
We always enjoy dinner at Roxy's. The veal oscar is very good and you can't beat the prime rib. We also like the Ferrari Carrano wines and they are very reasonable. The staff is very attentive. You have to try the bacon cheesey bread and the chocolate dessert melts in your mouth.

Not impressed by the flavor of our dishes. Presentation was appealing. Our table was located next to a door that led to the noisy casino. My wife was cold from the draft that came through the door when it was open. An uncomfortable roar of noise also came through the open door. Half the staff was courteous was considerate and closed the door behind themselves when they used it. The other half of the staff would just open it and leave it open.
