I can't say enough bad things about Royal Air Houston. I filed a claim with First American when my a/c wasn't blowing cold air. I was assigned Royal Air Houston. I can live with them being ridiculously late with the time they came to the house (I had a 8am-1pm time window and when I called at 1pm they said I had a 1-6PM time window. This is completely incorrect and I have the email to prove it - according to online reviews this is a common tactic of Royal Air). My AC broke for last few days.. I can't get any technician to come over my place for repair.. Royal Air installed my entire AC units but they fell to service after hr.. They don't have enough technicians to service their clients.. After they gave me an appointment 2 days after my request for service, they called to reschedule my appointment.. My systems were installed 2015. Within a 60 day timeframe there was leakage coming from the HVAC in my attic and I had to have it repaired. They took care of it. Within n 2 years the system wasn’t working and they had to come back. Now 4 years later the electronic air cleaner that the owner suggested I purchase isn’t working and rather than replace it with another one they give me a regular a/c filter. NO STARS! DO NOT USE ROYAL AIR! My less than 2 year old AC that they installed $$$$ has not worked for 10 of the last 14 days. The tech that worked on our original problem created another issue that resulted in my house filling with steam a few days later and a major coolant leak. 3 techs, 4 visits in two weeks and the problem has not been fixed and they will not return my calls. Please read the negative reviews about this company here and on Yelp. There is a common theme. They are crooks!!

Believe all negative reviews from yelp, BBB, google, FB, Birdseye and RUN!!!! Because Royal air will ROYALLY F*** you over! As a new homeowner who utilized a home warranty is how these assholes took advantage of us. From a $17,000 sale, to half-ass routine maintenance, to RUDE receptionist Laquesisha, Or whatever this b****'s name is, Kerry, Jim, Jon snd Gloria are assholes also. They were terrible! Beyond terrible. They were dishonest!!!! Joshua, the technician that was sent looked and the unit and told me I had a hole in my evaporator coil. He then proceeded to tell me I need to replace both units and the cost would be 4K per unit. After talking more, I said 8k for two new units and he replied it would be more like 16K because I needed the bigger units. He then told me that I needed all new duct work because it was full of MOLD! He also informed me that he had turned off my AC unit (somewhere outsi... read more

Dont walk, RUN away from this company! On 9/17/18 First American Warranty was called for service due to our air conditioning unit not working properly. A "Royal Air" contractor came out that day and assessed the system. He showed pictures of the ducts in the attic and said we also had a leak. He also said there was mold growing on the 50 year old ducts that needed to be replaced. He stated that the ducts had been repaired before and they were not repaired correctly. Worst ever... Asked to speak to the manager nobody calls back do not return messages they came to the house and told us we needed new unit because we were in the flood..wanted to put in in the same day we said we would think about it so he calls the insurance company and tells them that we don't need a new unit.
