Do not go to this rehab! First thing was my Mom arrive by transfer from Dignity St. Rose hospital and they knew she was arriving and they still had a patient in her room when we arrived so my mom had to wait almost an hour in the hallway on a gurney for them to move a patient out and then sanitize the room. This was at 5pm. Once in room they never offered her a dinner. The very next day they notify her that she will be isolated for 5 days. PLEASE stay away from Sage Creek. I have read the all of the other 1 stars comments/reviews and I can say that each and every negative situation my dad experienced as well. "Again, I'm not medical" is the answer my mom and I continually received. Seeing a doctor was few and far between.

Stay away. Since arriving at this place my dad had to use the bathroom and he's been using bed pans at the hospital. We were told by this place they have everything to care for their patients. It's all a lie! My dad had to use the bathroom and they said they don't have bed pans or urinals. So we said can you help to the bathroom then. They said they can't move him because he needs to be evaluated by doctors first. Which they said could be one to two days. My father needs to take a shit! And he was told just go in the bed. The CNAs and nurses do work hard to care for patients and are kind. BUT You will never get a call back from dr. Ramos the medical director/Hospitalist. No office number. You have to leave a message with the facility who often doesn't answer the phones and has NO voicemail system. Your call just disconnects. NO COMMUNICATION. They tell you your Medicare time is up and you need to find a place for them to go. No guidance or wrong guidance. My mom was told she could go to a nonmedical facility and I said it was unsafe. I spent three days here in November '22. I would rather die at home than go back here. Staff is supercilious, condesending, and anything but helpful. I was dropped off by a hospital transport team and left in a drafty area I thought was a hallway for over a half hour. Once they checked me in, horrified by the woman's attitude, I found out that this drafty area was actually my room. Only decent mention is the food - my Mom did enjoy the food. One CNA was great on day shift. One night she was in wet diaper close to 8 hours. Come into her room, turn off the light and back to whatever - cell? TV?? Doing their nails?? The smell - backed up sewer lines - not the normal smell of dirty diapers!! Avoid at all cost. AND, whatever you do, do NOT let them make any Doctor/transport appointments - you will be greatly disappointed. Would give negative stars if possible. Staff are unbelievably careless and lack sense of urgency. I have had to request multiple things from the staff that they failed to provide my dad, since he is not monitored well. Caught the staff on their phones most of the time. Had to clean up messes in his room because they couldn't bother to pick up some trash. My dad has been here for almost a month and no progress. In fact, it seems his condition has gotten worse. At 1st my sister's insurance wouldn't pay for her additional stay at Sage Creek, so I paid for it. The decision was reversed and her insurance company said they would pay for it. I was assured by Alicia in the business office that my money would be returned within in 3 weeks. That was 7 weeks ago and I have yet to hear from them, get my phone calls or emails returned or receive money back. In short, they are being paid twice.
