Bottles were loosely screwed on and all the liquid came out during delivery!
The terms and conditions for returns need to be publicized better. Even though you have 45 days to return an item, the customer will pay for return shipping. The cost for a classical guitar was easily $70. Had I known that, I would have considered differently.
I rarely have a bad experience with Sam Ash, but I purchased some timbales and was sent the wrong stand with the drums. While frustrating that wasn’t what bothered me as much as not getting a response when I both called and wrote asking if they would sell me the correct gear. I even talked to a guy in the store who promised to call me, but I never heard back. So I’m disappointed in my treatment by Sam Ash in recent months.
When I tell the sales person that the sale is contingent upon having the instrument thoroughly checked out by their Luther and only then be shipped After being completely checked out and it checks, all the boxes thereby avoiding me the hassle of returning the instrument And having to wait for my funds to be returned to my account. My local rep David Weintraub was great. However the guitar shipped from Sam Ash Nashville store with oxidation on the strings an no set up. I had to pay Guitar Center for new strings and set up just so I can play it and make a decision if to keep or return. Reimbursing me for the strings is not acceptable. Wasted time and money.
