I ordered my piano on December 2nd and was told I would get my piano before Christmas. Every time I called they said I would get it on time and they told me on the 23rd. that it will only be here in January. I did not even get an apology other than a standard email your shipment will arrive when the delivery company setups an appointment after they receive it. I am very disappointed in the service and would not order from Sam Ash again.
I would like to make this a 2.5, but that is not an option. I would have to say my experience with Sam Ash was probably below average. I had (and continue to have) issues with my purchase, yet have yet to hear from Sam Ash about resolution. They were quick to contact me when I made the purchase, but now that I have issues, they have not responded. If you are reading, Sam Ash, that took you from a 4 to a 2. One star review worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life -there is one saving grace to their company his name is Johnny the rest of the company is horrible. I will never deal with this company ever again I will go back to guitar center and Sweetwater and never deal with such an amateur set up-!
Bought a pedal from Sam Ash online Wednesday night 12/12 and selected 2nd Day Shipping at $38.99. The shipping was Free 2-Day to begin with, but thought I could get it before Saturday paying for the 2nd Day Shipping. The pedal was not shipped until after 5 P.M the next day, so there went a day of the shipping. Got the tracking information and it was not to be delivered till the following Monday 12/17. Relatively easy transaction.. Disappointed in the use of Fed Ex for shipping, as it arrived tattered and torn. 36 month 0 percent financing is always a plus.
SamAsh was the only one who carried the exact replacement strings for my Rickenbacker 360 12 string. All other retailers only had brands with variations in string sizes.
Bought a 2015 Gibson Les Paul CM recently. Sam Ash should get 5 stars for offering new old stock at great prices BUT they should get 1 star for their packing of it. Guitar was received in the Gibson retail storage box and had virtually no packing material inside the box but had the Sam Ash security tape on the outside of the box for my protection. Lucky it was not damaged. Gibson CM ...Awesome.
I ordered an amp online. Received email for pick up, to my surprise, they gave me a used amp, not a brand new one in a box. So, I returned it and cancel the purchase. If I pay full price I expect a new item, otherwise a sustancial discount must be given
