I had to make an emergency appointment and was fortunate to meet with PA Ayata Kaced. Her bedside manner was the best I had experienced in my 50 years. I forgot the tech who assisted her, but both ladies were the utmost professionals and truly showed empathy and compassion. They really made a painful procedure so much more tolerable, did their best to make me feel comfortable, and were very communicative. I cannot sing words of praise worthy of Kaced and the tech (I'm so sorry I forgot your name).

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Matthew Asmar. He is straightforward and speaks a bit quickly, but he was patient and answered all my questions about the laser operation that was needed. I was informed that it would be a cosmetic procedure that was not covered by insurance, but I was okay with that since it was a simple blood vessel issue that only required laser treatment. My first time here on Sept 6 '23. Wait time was a 4/5. Sophia K. and Dr. Matthew Asmar get a 5/5 for their bedside manner, 5/5 for making me feel comfortable, 5/5 for being great to work with. Overall, 4.75/5, so rounding up to 5/5 because Yelp. I obviously can't speak for anyone else's experiences w/ other doctors here, but Dr. Asmar was great. They listened to my issues, diagnosed my issues, and presented me with viable, helpful solutions to said issues. Would recommend if your insurance is accepted here. I'm glad to hav... read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Nossa's for several years. I was born with red hair, fair skin and freckles and grew up in Southern California where I was exposed to too much sun. I have had many precancerous spots lasered, along with a regular checkup. Dr. Nossa is very sweet and kind. He is also extremely competent. Despite the fact that the waiting room is always a zoo, they have always taken good care of me. They have many doctors. You may have to wait. Read your emails or bring a book.

For my first time appointment with Dr. Shah and initial visit at this office, I'd like to start off by saying that the staff were very professional and very sweet. My three-year-old daughter and myself went in for a first time check up and some concerns that I had with a small rash on daughters skin. The wait time was between 10 to 15 minutes and they provided us with a iPad to check in. They also gave my daughter some stickers to play with and lollipop. I absolutely love this place. I had two beauty marks removed, one by Dr. Justin Brown and the other by Dr. Nossa, and both sutures healed beautifully. Both doctors are exteremly attentive, patient, and actually speaks to you as a patient. You feel heard and taken care of. I've also had a series of chemical peels by one of the cosmotologist leaving my skin balanced and smooth. Great experience here.

I highly recommend The Derm Group. I have never had an issue with making an appointment at a convenient time or waiting to be seen. For example I was there yesterday morning, arrived 15 minutes early and was taken exactly on time. This has been my experience for over 10 years. I see both Dr. Brown and PA Shannon Welner. Both are excellent in knowledge and practice. Everything is explained and I never feel rushed. I plan to continue at the Derm group in the future.

Dr. Shah is incredible. I had clear skin throughout middle school and high school but when I went to college and as an adult, I started getting terrible breakouts. I was embarrassed to go out and see friends and needed real help. Dr. Shah knew exactly what to do - she recommended a topical gel that cleared my acne so quickly. I've also started going to her for laser hair removal. I'm so happy with the results and highly recommend her!
