Waiting.... waiting.... waiting...... If you have an unlimited amount of time to burn then go to this practice. However, if you value your time look elsewhere for medical dermatology. They have no respect for your time but they are quick to cancel your appointment if you're late or charge you a no show fee if you don't cancel with 24 hours notice. I had an emergency this morning and called the office and they were able to take me today within a few hours. I saw JoAnn Lane and she was lovely. Her diagnosis was quick and her explanation was clear and concise. I was told an antibiotic would be sent to my pharmacy. It is now 8pm, seven hours since I had my appointment, and the pharmacy has STILL not received my prescription. I really liked the NP I saw at my first appointment but waited 1.5 hours after my appointment time to be seen. Today before my follow up appointment I called to make sure the NP was running on time before I left work early AGAIN and was told she was on time. I arrived and was told she is NOT running on time. No apology, no explanation. Doctor's office are the only businesses able to run consistently and ridiculously late but some how manage to stay in business. Same problem at the Jersey City office. Took my teenage daughter here for some minor acne. Waited over 45 minutes in the reception area, and then another 15 in the exam room. Unacceptable for a dermatology office. The office staff wasn't particularly friendly either...
I was just on line for over half hour waiting for someone to come and answer my questions. I like dr. Brown but the office and support staff are the worse. I asked the doctor for an email address or cell # and he would not provide. Guess the attitude is they could care less.
Another disappointing experience provided by The Dermatology Group in Verona. Rude staff - from back office to the PA we saw. Never on time which demonstrates a complete lack of respect for their patients time. Not to mention the associate who saw my daughter did not offer suggestions until pressed - which she did not like. Unimpressed with this group.
Went for a cosmetic procedure , charged $650 For 1 vial of juvaderm. If that wasn't bad enough, I was billed for an extra $75 because I asked a question about my hair..physicians assistant told me what to do and gave me a cream..NEVER ASKED FOR ANY OF THIS...she never told me I'd be charged for asking a question..billing told me that this happens a lot!!! Billing didn't call me back , I called twice & they never returned my calls... Husband and I are done with them
If I could give negative stars I would. I went to the West Orange. This was the worst experience and most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. First the wait was over an hour long which wasn't the worse part. I got in the room and the nurse comes in and asks me preliminary questions. Doctor comes in for literally 3 minutes and I tell her my multiple issues and prescribes me 180 dollar ointment for all my unrelated issues. Do not go here. I went to the Jersey City location in Harborside at Exchange Place. The lady at the front desk was rude and just left my chart with all of my personal information sitting on the ledge of her desk for almost ten minutes before she grabbed it to process my info. Then, when I went to see the doctor, he spent literally 3 minutes of his time with me and instead of coming up with other solutions just said I needed to take pills.
