I won't be going back to this location, or any other within the network. The receptionists and the doctors have no sense of customer service, or patient empathy. Every single interaction, with every single person I have talked to has been difficult, rushed, impersonal and frankly just rude. Don't go if you want to be treated like a human patient and individual. There are many other facilities and doctors out there, you can do better.

I was led to believe that a shave off mole removal was approximately $220. When I got to my appointment, I was shown the real prices $300 for a single mole shave off plus a doctors visit fee, over $400 total! I declined the procedure but I WAS STILL CHARGED $107 for a worthless consultation that took less that 10 minutes. This place is a rip off. They should be more honest about their pricing, its clearly printed on the card inside the doctors office, but you are charged a doctors visit fee to set foot in there.

Almost $500 to remove a single foot wart? Go somewhere else and save your money! Clearly the California Skin Institute is more interested in overcharging rich trophy wives than treating actual medical conditions. BTW: This is a review for the SF location. First the good news: the receptionist and the nurse practitioner (I believe it was Nikki) were awesome. I went in two times around the end of 2014 and both times they were very pleasant and attentive. Downside: The procedure to remove my foot wart took two treatments, I wou... read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. Had a wonderful experience. Everyone is so efficient. We were in and out so fast. No, they did not rush us, they know how to run their office. Dr. Webb has been taking care of my elderly mother for quite sometime, he is so kind and knows his craft. He is very thorough when checking my mother's skin and is so patient with her. I highly recommend Dr. Webb! The office staff were very kind and helpful. Great experience - I wish all things ran as smoothly.

**This review is for the SF location since there doesn't appear to be a page.** I have had a horrible experience and have not been able to get in contact with anyone at the office for the past week. After 4 months of taking a prescription given to me here, I called the office last Monday to let them know I was experiencing extreme weakness/heaviness in my limbs. I was told the NP would call me back shortly, then I received a call back a few hours later from a woman relaying a unclear message from the NP. She asked if I had g... read more

Giving this place two stars because at least the provider I saw was thoughtful and made an effort to be professional. My issues with CSI came with their aggressive approach to billing. I was referred to CSI for a possibly pre-cancerous spot on my nose. The provider reassured me that it was probably not cancerous, but out of an abundance of caution she opted to freeze it off. Before doing so, she asked if I had any social plans in the next few days because the procedure would leave a temporary mark. I was indeed scheduled to ... read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE! The receptionist is the most horrible person ever. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Susan Wolf and my doctor had confirmed that the referral had been sent. When the bitch receptionist answered the phone she automatically had a terrible attitude and treated me like I had no idea how to book a doctor's appointment. I've had over 30 major surgeries in the last 10 years, and believe me I know how to deal with a doctor's office. She never asked my name and simpl... read more

My experience at the California Skin Institute was AMAZING. Let me break it down.... - Wait time - 2 minutes in lobby - Wait time - 2 minutes in room - Dr. Wolf comes in and diagnosis my issue in 1 minute - I ask bout 10 dumb questions, she answers SUPER directly and we agree on a action - Wait 2 minutes while she prepares - Treats issue and tells me next steps... Some people may think she is rude....I just think she is direct. I asked 10 questions and she didn't blow any of them off. She listened to each one and made sure I... read more

I've been seeing Dr. Susan Wolf over the past 10 years. I always see her every year for regular skin check-ups as well as a couple more important episodes where Dr. Wolf discovered pre-caner basal cell carcinoma tissue on my face right in front of my ear. She was a supreme professional throughout the whole process. She used a local anesthetic to numb the side of my face and never once did I doubt her skills as a surgeon when she made a 3" incision to remove the malignant tissue. Seven stiches later, I left her offices and to... read more
