Owned by private equity. Good luck getting past their AI phone assistant. When you do, you'll be talking to someone at a call center in another state or another country. Front desk is staffed with apathetic, lethargic individuals. They can't help you nor will they go out of their way to try.

The billing and accounting at this place is horrible. I was charged a late fee to my FSA card which then got blocked because it isn't a justified medical expense. This place claimed they'd revert it but never have, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone for assistance. In office they can't figure out their systems nor secure approvals for making billing decisions. If orchestrated, then this is brilliantly frustrating Incompetence.

Appalling front office, I thought it was odd and a red flag when I checked in for my 1st appointment and a person was haranguing the front desk for being completely unresponsive and having to physically go to the office to get an answer. Turns out it's impossible to get hold of a live person by phone and the only thing the AI assistant is good for is dropping you into a voice mail box. Absolutely terrible customer service. Was on hold today for 40+ minutes and still no answer, I have tried three times in the last week and every single time. My wait is over 30 minutes long and I have to give up because I either have another work call or something else that I need to get done. They need to hire more people.

Worst service you can imagine. Imagine needing medical care, and the response is a brick wall. That's what it's like trying to get care at this place. Just walk into a brick wall - it will be faster and less painful than going to this office.

After 15 + years of being a patient at the California Skin Institute-first with Dr. Webb then Dr. Wolf, I can no longer recommend this practice. In short, I developed a very disturbing and fast spreading symptom that definitely required medical attention. After leaving messages (on a Friday morning and again on Monday morning and afternoon) (both through the front desk staff and on Dr. Wolf's message system) explaining the symptoms and my distress - NO ONE called back until 5 days after my first call! I've been coming here for a while now. The front desk staff is friendly, and the office is always clean. I feel like Dr. Li genuinely listens to what I tell him, and cares about finding a solution to a problem. There are two small parking lots (one above and one below street level) that are often full, and not easy to get from one to the other, as the driveways are directly next to each other.
