I booked an appointment then I received a text to confirm that appointment. I called the office and they had no information on me , not even my name, email or phone number, literately NOTHING. And then they cancelled the appointment 5 minutes later

I don't know how to begin . Scheduling was very easy to do but I had to call every day at a certain time because nobody was answering from 9-11 am ; I got lucky on a Wednesday . I simply needed milia removed and for my scalp to be looked at. Coming in the front desk is efficient but they seemed irritated with me ; mainly because I had issues with signing in The nurse that called me in seemed irritated with me ; and I stood in the examination room answering questions she didn't say her name and didn't let me hang up my purse.... read more

The front desk staff was rude and difficult to reach, appointments were very rushed, and billing was misleading. The dermatologist was nice, but did not seem very familiar with my condition. I would avoid using CSI for you dermatology needs!

I've seen Dr. Sorrell for a few years in San Francisco and San Mateo, and she's easily one of the best clinicians I'v ever had the fortune to see. It is incredible important to have physicians that are good communicators and listeners, and Dr. Sorrell exemplifies excellence in both. When all my hair fell out due to horrible alopecia and the entire back of my head was bald, she listened to me as I sobbed and assured me with confidence and empathy that it would get better. Extremely Bad Customer Service. I had spoken to Jamila over Two weeks ago, to schedule a Mohs Surgery for Jan 27, with Dr. Sorell. I was so happy that it finally was going to be over, and that my Blue Shield PPO Individual Insurance would be excepted. Today, Jan 23 I received a call that Dr. Sorell does not do Mohs Surgery. To make matters worse, San Francisco, Daly City, Mountain View, and Castro Valley of the Skin Institute do not accept my type of insurance which is Blue Sheild PPO Individual. Dr Susan Wolf is the best dermatologist you can find. Super educated aside from highly efficient and professional. Was in there for an urgent treatment for shingles. Dr Wolf was able to skip lunch and take me in knowing the pain associated with a potential patient with shingles developing. Her assistant was just as helpful and efficient. I got my prescription in minutes and felt with an assurance of a fine healing process or pain level and period reduced. I felt fortunate that I was treated by Dr Wolf and not anyone else. Everyone I've ever spoken to at this clinic has been rude and unhelpful. They always speak and act like they're so busy but when I go to the office, they're often just sitting there or gossiping about other people that work at that clinic. Extremely unprofessional.

Susan is ok but her assistant should be replaced. I waited for a week to get my cream omg !!! Thanks god I had a backup cream from another doctor or else I would be dead by the time I got it.

Visited California Skin Institute today for a rare eczema flare up. Not only was the office aesthetics clean and well-managed, the front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. My appointment was at 1:50pm but they happily took me in at 1:35pm. Dr. Wolf and her team was amazing. She was able to diagnose my skin condition and recommended two options for treatment.
