Victor showed up right on time and easily figured out the problem. He did a nice job fixing. I will call them when it is time for more window work. Had a couple casement windows that gave me trouble closing. The company that installed them is no longer in business nor is the manufacturer.

It was a great deal. The storm windows provided excellent acoustical insulation and we can sleep more quietly. They installed new storm windows.

I contacted Scientific for an estimate to replace our walk-in door on the garage. The old one was a commercial grade steel door and frame which was rusted and would stick. Jon came out and gave us an estimate for removal and replacement of the door and the frame. I was told it would take about 3 weeks for them to get the door and once it was in we could schedule a date for the work to be done. Some of our windows were not closing easily or tightly within the frame, and we were getting a lot of condensation (in the form of ice build-up) on the glass in the winter time. My assumption was that we might need new windows. I called to get a quote. An appointment was made, and Jon Koloms came out. He was punctual and pleasant to deal with. John called me within the 5 week estimated time that my windows had arrived. They were at my house to install the windows within a couple of days. Installation went quickly within 4 hours. An additional window, which was not measured, was earlier added to my order . We both assumed that it would be the same size as the others but upon installation, they discovered it was a slightly larger window. John was apologetic. Victor was very helpful. I had water leaking through the top of my basement window every time it rained really hard. Others had suggested taking the entire window out to see what the problem was. Victor was in the area, came by, decided to first try using silicone to seal the top of the frame that looked open. It did the trick! I had called the day before and he was out the next day. Thank you Victor for finding a simple solution.

I'm very grateful for Michael's advice on my problem. I was able to fix everything for $8 at the hardware store. He could have easily done the work himself and charged me, and I appreciate his honest advice and integrity. Offered free advice on how to fix issues with windows, and it worked perfectly.
