We were comfortable with Jon from the time we met him. He listened to our needs and concerns and did not try sell us something we did not need or want. He presented information in a clear and concise manner without badmouthing other companies as his competitors had done. (We met with other window installers who did not listen, were plain rudeor proposed unreasonable quotes.) They did a great job. Jon came over to take a look and provided an estimate on the spot. After we accepted the proposal the final measurement was done within a week and exactly 3 weeks after that (as promised) we were contacted to schedule the installation. It took about 5 weeks from the time we accepted the proposal to have the windows installed. On the day of the installation the crew showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. The provider was professional and knowledgable. I just wish there was something he could have done so we didn't have to replace windows. The provider showed up on time, took one look at our windows and told us there was nothing he could do for us. I appreciated his honesty and he gave us a few pointers for keeping warm over the winter. Great guys and worth your time if you're looking for estimates. Pella and Andersen quotes were really high and pushing for gutting larger front and side window that were upwards of $25k just for those two. Jon came up with way to cut wood in few places to keep frame intact and drop in double hungs in pattern that matched original look of windows. That advice alone saved us a ton of money. They cut through the chase. They gave me a very clear estimate. There wasn't a lot of pressure to get something I didn't need. Their pricing was extremely reasonable compared to the others I looked at. I usedScientific Home Services for windows.

We spent the winter shopping windows. We had a total of 4 bids. When we called John at SHS he called back right away & came to the house the same week for an estimate. I had a great first impression of John. He was a low pressure, easy to talk to kind of guy. He gave me the facts about his product/services & didn't try to talk me in to making unnecessary purchases. Jon was professional and understanding of the situation and sensitive to the cost. He promptly scheduled a service call to address the situation. The cost was adjusted because I was a "past customer". Amisunderstanding was addressed and no further issue.I was pleased with the service. Four windows - thermal unit reglaze and argon low E gas service.

Our salesman (Jon) was prompt, courteous and professional. He gave us the information we needed without any pressure. He was done in 30 minutes! He listened well and provided clear, brief answers to our questions. He did not bash the competition while explaining the differences in their products. The Installation was done in one long day by two men who knew what they were doing.
