I was very impressed with Scott Home Inspection in October 2021. I scheduled the service on a Saturday around 5pm using their online tool and someone got back to me right the way on Sunday morning via telephone to get my inspection going on a Tuesday because my deadline was on Wednesday. Scott Home Inspection was the perfect choice for our home inspection.They made an appointment less than 48 hours after we requested it. Our inspector was professional, friendly, and efficient. He explained everything to us in a way we could understand, and the report was ready very quickly afterward with photos and color-coding of the issues included.
Had a great experience with Scott Hone inspection. They were professional, on time, affordable and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend them and would happily use them again. The report they sent over afterwards was detailed with information and photos to help along with the details. The report was so detailed I referred back to it just to see photos for decoration reasons lol. Seriously super professional!! Mike was my Inspector and he did a great job and was super professional! We called Scott's for home and rental inspection and needed both in a short time frame. Dan Henderson from Scott's came right away and prepared a very thorough report for us. He walked us through the inspection over the phone as we were out of state and sent a detailed report later that day. We couldn't be more satisfied.
The home inspection for a new home I'm purchasing went perfectly on 9-29-2021. Excellent quick easy to understand follow up report with many photos, comments, suggestions and contractors names if repair work was needed to be done. 1st time homebuyer, so the added context as to the frequency with which I would want to address certain aspects of the home was super valuable. I may be biased, seeing as the inspection went well, but the team was super informative. Ended up being a bit more expensive than my liberal estimate with all of the services I added to inspection (all), but nothing that wasn't very clearly itemized in their online quote generator and scheduler.
Very easy to schedule and very thorough in their inspection report. They talked us through the report immediately afterward and flagged what's important vs. what should be addressed at some point. I don't intend to buy another home for many years but would happily work with them again.
