Purchased a home in another state and relied heavily on our home inspection as we had not even viewed the property on person. Timely, honest, professional and safe - Scott Home Inspection were a great referral.

Scheduling and online report were great. However, we were less than satisfied with our inspector (Joe). We have had far more detailed inspections from other companies in the past. There were items in the report that didn't even match the property; for example, comments about city water connection when the home was on well water. The report noted that he couldn't find the water shut off, and it was even captured in a picture! The in-person review was cursory and no specific materials or notes were shared with us at that time.... read more

Professional company. Quickly responded to our requests/needs and made our home inspection go as smooth as possible! We are first time home buyers and were nervous about the entire process. The EXTREMELY detailed report put us at ease and made us confident in purchasing our first home. Thank you Scott Home Inspection!

Todd was professional and very thorough on our home inspection. I am not very savvy when it comes to home systems and he did a great job at explaining/simplifying his professional analysis so that I could understand. Todd helped us prioritize the most pressing issues on the inspection report for our negotiations. The final report was clear, had detailed photos that pointed to the issues which was very helpful. Overall, we had a great experience working with Scott Home Inspection. Would highly recommend!

Incredibly thorough and detailed. In fact they reported on so many items, the owner almost got scared off from doing the closing. He did not seem to understand the concept that a pre-sale Home Inspection is done so as to let the buyer be aware of any possible issues the house might need to address in the present or near future. Thank you for being so meticulous and precise. I just wish the price was at d more reasonable..

The inspectors were very professional, very COVID conscious, and very thorough. They explained in detail to me personally their findings, and followed up with a very easy to read and understand on line report. Highly recommend.

In preparing to purchase a triplex, Scott Home Inspection performed a trio of inspection services for me and as usual, proved to be professional, timely, communicative, and highly informative. My inspector was available for repeated follow up questions and I felt like they were on my side and protecting me. Thanks SHI!! You're the best!

Dave was our inspector and he was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and cheerful. He answered all our questions and was available later when we had more. Dave was very thorough and provided an excellent report, well documented with pictures. His expertise was superior and he was very helpful. We will always use Dave and Scott Home Inspection.
