We had a great view of the marina. However, that may have been the best part of the meal. Service was subpar. And, the food left a lot to be desired. Based on the prices of the entrées, I expected more than what I was served.
We are locals and have been here many times. The food is excellent and we love David the manager. We used to request him as a waiter because he is the best when he was a waiter. Unfortunately most recently we had an extremely rude waitress that we have had before. It ruined the experience. The food is too expensive to be treated so poorly. We will likely not return.
The ambience was great but the service was very poor. Apparently they were short staffed. We waited a long time to even get glasses of water. The waitress was horrible. I felt that we were not even acknowledged. I believe when the manager asked us how was every thing, none of us didn’t even answer. That was an indication that the service was bad.
Tourist trap cloaked as a high end restaurant. Literally everyone in our group of 12 agreed the food was just mid at best. Don’t go here.
Saw this place mentioned on TikTok. Definitely overrated. My pasta was bland but my son’s short ribs looked delicious. For the price , I was expecting a lot more. Enjoyed Hudson’s a lot more!
Our family dinner was very disappointing at Ela’s. The restaurant was not busy at all yet our service was extremely poor. The table was not cleared from appetizers or first round of drinks when our food came out. The server left for 40 minutes at a time between drinks, food, etc. It was very hard to get another round of drinks or any service at all. Don’t like martinis in metal. The Raspberry Cosmo and Lemon Basil Martini should have fresh ingredients. The shrimp was fine. The Lobster Ravioli was dry, but had good flavor. Was it sitting under a heat lamp?? The view was fabulous. We greatly appreciate the hostess found us a table outside. I would recommend for the the view and atomosphere.
Very slow service. Fish was overcooked. The entire restaurant was out of chicken and we weren’t told until they were serving the rest of the tables food. Will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food was not great and the service was slow. It was disappointing.
