Service was bad. 50 minutes to get a drink. Waitress very slow to check in 2 1/2 hour dinner.
Manager is rude and seems a novice. As soon as we barely finished dessert we were told someone is waiting for out specific table and were asked to leave. The adjacent table thought it was horrible and were saying how much it has gone downhill.
The manager at the door was very very rude to Us. We had reservations and he decides to put Us upstair where I am handicapped his responses Was to bad we only have one table by the door He had a very bad attitude also
Extremely average meal here. Steak was bland and chewy
Had the two specials: fried oysters and blackened red fish. Food tasted very good, but something in the dish(es) did me in. Could not make it home before stopping. Either the kitchen contaminated the food or the fish components were bad to begin with. Very Disappointed!
Unfortunately the scallops I ordered were rubbery and given the price point of the meal I rated the experience as only 2 starts. Service was good and it’s a nice restaurant but food is why we go and the meal didn’t measure up.
The food is 20%more expensive than prices listed online. Food was terrible. We have literally never been so disappointed. I had the blackened fish special with undercooked, too hard to bite charred broccolini. My husband had crab cakes with overcooked crab. Same thing with crab risotto, overcooked and mushy with the consistency of mashed potatoes. Kids had NY strip which tasted bland and dried out. We did not like the table on the second floor. This was an overflow room with no ambiance. Hostess told us our table in the main dining room was not ready when we arrived, we had a reservation for over a week. Food was rushed, it was not worth the money. First time diners, we will not go back.
We were given a table which had hardly any light, when we told them the manager said he did not realize that the light was not working. The bread was cold and the butter was rancid. The food was ok but when I was finished and I happened to be looking at my phone for a message the waitress took my food and did not ask me if I wanted to take it home. In other restaurants they always ask us if we wanted to take our expensive food (tuna) home. Overall very bad experience. Other restaurants in Hilton head were so friendly.
