Very disappointed with the wait fir our food. The French toast was burnt. My steak and eggs were dry. Great view of the water, that’s it.
Waitress was horrible Lobster was like eating a rubber duck😡
Oyster Rockefeller awful, lobster too small, grouper tasteless, staff arrogant as we were ignored—never brought bread to the table. They did do the right thing at the end bringing my wife a delicious desert on the house for her birthday. Also great atmosphere.
Food was over cooked, over spiced. Diver scallops with crab risotto as an example of over cooked. Tuna 2 ways was unbalanced between salty and sweet
We were very disappointed. We ordered the special of Red Snapper and pimento rositto. It was obvious, because of how dried out our food was, that it sat under a warming light for far too long! The waiter was great initially but as time went by became overwhelmed with the number of tables he was responsible for. The price we, a table of 4, paid for this meal was extreme. We had a reservation but then were shuffled off to the second floor where we were alone. This was very odd and a very strange feeling. We didn’t care fir it at all and even though we asked about it, nothing was done to offer us a more normal dining experience. The food was only fair, any the service was spotty at best. Would recommend not going here. There are so many other better restaurants on Hilton Head, I suggest you will do better elsewhere.
Steak was severly overcooked or medium (came out grey throughout) and was cracked and burnt on the surface. When we politely shared this with our server, she took the steak back, then returned to tell us "the owner looked at the steak, it's medium and will not be able to cook you another." We asked to speak to owner, who was rude and dismissive stating that it was perfectly cooked and that's their "medium". Service wasn’t bad, but the food left a lot to be desired.
We had a reservation at 6. Showed up at 5:40 and we got seated upstairs in the back corner where there was no ambiance or atmosphere. There were many open tables on the patio and in the bar, but the host and owner said all the main floor tables were reserved and that all the outdoor seating was reserved as well. Hmmmm. Food was nothing special and overpriced. I would not recommend. Might be worth it to sit on the patio and have a cocktail, but there are many better places to eat!
