I was told I needed a new engine filter, I was never shown the old filter, and I should have asked to see it. When I went home I looked at my last oil change invoice and I was charged for an engine filter at that time as well. As far as I know, after checking online and with my brother and husband, an engine filter can go as long as 24,000 km… unless being in a very dusty environment.
