Ever since this company (progressive radiology) was bought out there is no help at all. I am pointed to a 3rd party billing company that I have spoken with every 2 weeks since May. My screening breast ultrasound was run as a diagnostic so they can get paid more. Never mind it was screening. They used the incorrect cpt code so they can get more money. I went in to the Hurst location Oct 2024 for a routine annual exam that ins covers 100%. Before even being seen they get your ID & ins at check-in. June 2025 I get a call from a collection agency for that routine visit that ins should have covered 100%. I NEVER RECEIVED A BILL OR CALL FROM SOLIS ABOUT INSURANCE ISSUES. Nothing. Nada. Will never ever deal with this company again! I'm pretty sure there is some shady stuff going on. When I was in the office they charged me my full deductible for my mammogram. I knew it should have only been $30 copay because that is what it was the year prior, but they wouldn't let me leave until I paid over $400. My mom is experiencing what appears to be elder abuse & racial discrimination by SOLIS MAMMOGRAPHY, because she had her recent yearly mammogram & BEFORE her appointment she contacted Humana(her so called insurance provider) to confirm that Solis was a in-network provider. She was assured that Solis was in-network & that she would not pay anything out of pocket. Be very careful. Solis will charge you for scanning that your doctor doesn't order, and never return your repeated efforts to discuss the bill. I've called twice (2 people couldn't answer my question, and a phone message was left), tried to connect by sending a letter, and through email. They replied to a person who is not me. No one has contacted me.
The reception person was awful and I just walked out. I have only been to the Frisco location in the past and just moved to Mansfield. First of all, I walked to the door 10 minutes before my appointment and the sign said "closed". I saw someone at reception and a person in front of the desk and walked in. Don't believe them! This company claimed they checked to be sure they were in network. I received a bill and went to the office service was rendered. They were rude and basically said "not my problem". I called billing many times and left in Que more than an hour with no way to leave a message. after being told twice I didn't owe this bill since insurance cover 100% and they would take care of it I got another bill and a text from a debt collector for Rose Imaging but still can't reach billing since they don't answer phone.
The Mansfield location is where I go to get my annual mammograms. I probably got about 5 different text, 3 different voicemails and 2 emails reminding me of my appointment I get there and they say we don't take your insurance anymore. Mind you I completed my online info with the insurance info on there. I wasted a day off from work. I even called my insurance to ask if I needed a referral and they said no. This facility really needs to show more compassion and understanding toward their patients. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment, and instead of notifying me or offering any flexibility, they immediately canceled my appointment. You never know what someone might be going through that causes them to run late -- especially at a place providing mammography screenings, where patients may already be dealing with anxiety or personal challenges.
