If I could give a 0, I most certainly would. Although I was covered by "insurance" this was proven. Their verification dept was in error, they sent out the bill with incorrect place of service. After 7 calls when I received bills, (that should have never gone to the patient who had insurance) being assured I did not owe and would not receive another bill. Solis does NOT care about your time nor if they keep you as a patient. Arrived 10 mins prior to appt. At my appt time, they brought me back to change and there were 5 other ladies waiting in locker room as well...........40 minutes later, I am still waiting, and am the ONLY one left in the dressing room, waiting.... Then they open the door and call someone's name that was still out in the lobby filling out their paperwork!! Beware. They will ask for money upfront where really your insurance will be paying for that visit. I paid $506.80 for a redo of a mammogram that was a callback for me. They requested $506.80 when I left the building turns out my insurance fully paid to them and it took months for them to finally say oh yeah it's been credited back to your MasterCard, where really it did not. They keep your money and they will collect from insurance also. Horrible business practice.

If I could leave a negative five stars I would. What is the point of making an appointment time if you aren't even seen for an hour and a half after your arrival. They acted like it was normal and not apologetic at all. Some of us have jobs we had to leave to come do this because of the limited ability of booking, yet it's over booked anyway. Chose another location, hopefully you have a better and more professional experience.

Do not use this location (on 15th St in Plano). You will have to pay $ extra. One payment is for the service and technology, then you will get a separate bill for the dr. (facility) which is aligned with Medical City Plano. On the day of my appointment, I paid $520, then a few weeks later, I got a bill for $800. I called the billing department and explained that I was not notified about the extra cost. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. Make sure you ask how much the TOTAL cost will be.

All they care about is money! My deductible met. They threatened to reschedule. I insisted they call my 2 surgeons and let them know they are canceling my surgery/ inpatient stay over$50 I don't owe. They changed their mind and completed the procedure. All about the $$$$ - they don't care about patients health.

Tried to make an appt in Oct for Nov, told no openings until January. I chose MLK day because I am a teacher and that's a day off. 90 minutes before the appt, they call and try to change it to the next day. I explain that won't work. They fit me in to an after school appt and I get there and THEN they tell me they don't take my insurance anymore. Now I am months overdue on my mammo. They should have figured all this out in Oct. Normally, I highly recommend Solis and have used them for years. The facilities in Plano on Parker are top notch and the staff is wonderful. I would give them full stars and recommend you go there. Sadly, I was on a tight schedule so took the nearest appointment time which was at Medical City. Well, I didn't realize that since it is attached to Medical City Hospital that I would be paying for their radiologist. My normal cost was more than tripled as I had additional hospital costs. Mammogram February 9, no problems with scheduling, staff efficient and competent, good results. But, received a notice of collections this week, which necessitated much digging, research, logging into Medicare for EOB. Yes, outstanding balance was correct, never received statement (remember Snovid hit the week after, went a week without mail). So, how much more of an effort would it have taken to send a second statement, an email, a text or phone call before sending the bill to a collection agency? Poor customer service. ... read more
