This hospital did a bad job on my boys circumsition. Now he has to go through the pain of getting revision circumsition because the doctor couldn't do her job right. Posting this review to help others I hope no one else experiences this.
Ever seen New Amsterdam? It's worse than THAT. Grandson was transferred by ambulance from urgent care with terrible asthma. When I arrived he was on oxygen but didn't see a doctor for nearly two hours while gasping for breath. Doctor finally comes in as if by accident and says, asthma? Uh...yeah. Then he says he was the one who signed off on the transfer order and "nobody told me you were here." Wow. Okayyyy. After about 8 hours he finally got admitted, but called me to tell me he was declining because even though ER dude sa... read more
I was referred here for an outpatient CT chest scan. Everybody there who was an employee was indifferent, detached, and uninterested in my procedure. Been 12 days since they told me I'd have the results. My primary physician can't get them and when you call them no answers the phone. Their portal doesn't function either. Says it will send you a security code that never comes. (Yes I checked junk box). Can't address other hospital functions but as far as my experience with outpatient imaging my review is "malpractice ".
if I could rate this hospital 0 stars I would. 1. The emergency room was filthy. 2. The department was under staffed and incapable of communicating basic health care information. 3. The doctors ran tests that were never evaluated and results were never communicated. 4. Staff sent us to doctors that were not in network despite specifically saying that they were in network. 5. When a medical emergency arose in the ICU there were no nurses monitoring the nursing station. Alarms were going off and no nurses came. ... read more
Went in with mastitis and the doctor prescribed me cephalexin knowing I'm allergic to penicillin and even told me it's in the same family. He kept an eye on me for a whole hour and sent me home... fast forward 3 days my mouth and throat are covered in blisters/ ulcers! So painful on top of all that the cephalexin did nothing for the mastitis. So pissed, he knowing gave me something he knew I was allergic to. This could have been life or death for someone. Seriously do better.
Whatever you do, don't do your Physical Therapy here. I had a major surgery with NAMC and spent 10's of thousands of $... Went for my last follow up visit and PT consult. Here were my three complaints and they cost me big. 1) No projected costs were given like had been done at previous visits at NAMC. I was billed $1,452 for less than 30 minutes (only 4 minutes of PT). That is significantly more than I paid for my MRI which uses a million $ piece of equipment. 2) Doctor walked me to my exam room. Based on how long I w... read more
I went to the ER at st David's a few days ago presenting with symptoms of extremely infection, pain, chills and vomiting. Not only did I have to wait over 2 + hours to even be seen but they were condescending and sent me home with diagnosis of UTI. My symptoms were so severe and I knew it was more serious that a simple uti. I was actually in sepsis and the next day I went into Ascension ER who saw me right away and ultimately gave me emergency surgery which saved my life. I will never go back to St David's. I am a young oth... read more
This place nearly killed me. I had surgery there and could NOT recover. I went back to the ER three times. I was vomiting, had no appetite, etc. They accused me of being a "drug seeker". Another doctor accused me of "thinking myself sick". Finally, on the third trip, the administrator came to me to apologize and asked, "We've sent you home three times and you've come back three times and we still don't know what's wrong with you??? This ends today. You are being admitted. I checked and you've never been to any other hosp... read more
