WORST ER VISIT EVER!! I am so disappointed in the staff. From the very first moment I walked in the doors it was already downhill. I had to literally wait while 3 front desk people at check-in (cop or guard.. couldn't tell lol, the lady who brings you back, and the man checking in) ALL ON THEIR PHONES TEXTING OR SCROLLING SOCIAL MEDIA. Finally the lady & guard/cop notice me and say hi or smile WHILE FRONT DESK DUDE IS STILL OBLIVIOUS to me standing right in front of him. He finally looks up and says "oh, whoops..sorry for... read more

I was sexually humiliated by a nurse. This might be a harsh way to put it, but to me it accurately describes the experience of being coerced into stripping and exposing my breasts and penis to a stranger. I've presented to many different hospitals for mental health issues in the past. Some used a metal detector wand, some patted me down, some instructed me to disrobe and change into scrubs but allowed me to have privacy. I've never been forced to be fully nude in front of a stranger, and this was extremely triggering given p... read more

The nursing at St David's was fantastic, but their billing is dishonest because they break it all up. You think you are paying for everything and then just keep getting bills. I am particularly offended by the bill from Dr Marina Aghababyan MD because she never even visited me in the hospital. According to the records, she admitted me into the hospital from the ER. Most of the care in the ER was Dr Cameron Keller, who came in for about 2 minutes. However, I have looked at my records, and Dr Cameron was ordering all sorts o... read more

I went to St. David's via ambulance. I was throwing up and so sick and was put in the waiting room. I wanted to go to the bathroom, I could barely walk, and was told that I couldn't use the restroom, I had to stay in the waiting room because I had an IV port in my arm. I waited for 3 hours in the waiting room. Finally got a bed in the hallway by the emergency doors. Was in the bed for almost 3 hours and was finally told I had Covid and had to leave because I couldn't be in the hallway. Seemed like the nurses didn't really... read more

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! Only bright side to my experience was that I was seen immediately as soon as I came into the ER. I recently visited for a minor headache and was diagnosed with a concussion and high heart rate. Not only did the nurses leave me unattended after giving an IV but I was a given a much higher dosage of Reglan than should have been given. I immediately went into shock and could not get a nurse within the first five minutes of being treated. They closed the curtain completely and I was not left with a ... read more

This has def taken the place of Brackenridge. Nobody here wants to do anything, they're playful, have no integrity and seems as though you're a bother if you come seeking actual medical attention. Unfortunately this is the closest hospital to us but even in a matter of life or death I'd take my chances and try to make it to either Round Rock or Seton Northwest. My wife has come here in numerous emergent situations and the care is just never quite up to par. In one instance she was discharged and sent home and immediately had... read more

If you have COVID19 DO NOT GO HERE. Ascension Seton Round Rock is your safest bet if recovery is something you are seeking. St David's is not a teaching hospital and follows CDC protocols that can quickly lead to being intubated. Go elsewhere!!!!

I had wonderful experience with L&D but can't say the same for the Er. I had a horrible headache on only my left side that stretched down all the way to my neck band shoulders, eventually my ear started hurting and aching non stop. Had made an appt with my primary but it was still over a week away. Had a two month old I had to care for and couldn't take the pain any longer. When I went in I let them know all my symptoms and how much pain I was in etc. They were very condescending about everything and diagnosed me with a head... read more
