Went in with mastitis and the doctor prescribed me cephalexin knowing I'm allergic to penicillin and even told me it's in the same family. He kept an eye on me for a whole hour and sent me home... fast forward 3 days my mouth and throat are covered in blisters/ ulcers! So painful on top of all that the cephalexin did nothing for the mastitis. So pissed, he knowing gave me something he knew I was allergic to. This could have been life or death for someone. Seriously do better.

Whatever you do, don't do your Physical Therapy here. I had a major surgery with NAMC and spent 10's of thousands of $... Went for my last follow up visit and PT consult. Here were my three complaints and they cost me big. 1) No projected costs were given like had been done at previous visits at NAMC. I was billed $1,452 for less than 30 minutes (only 4 minutes of PT). That is significantly more than I paid for my MRI which uses a million $ piece of equipment. 2) Doctor walked me to my exam room. Based on how long I w... read more

I was taken to St. David's via ambulance for an emergency. The medical care I received was fine. The problem is they are hounding me with bills. I provided my insurance information when I was treated. But they continued to say they didn't have it. I kept providing it. Then they insisted it couldn't be "verified" which makes no sense. I have no idea what to do. Definitely avoid this place unless you want to be hounded by medical bills because they are too inept to figure out how to bill your insurance company.

I went to the ER at st David's a few days ago presenting with symptoms of extremely infection, pain, chills and vomiting. Not only did I have to wait over 2 + hours to even be seen but they were condescending and sent me home with diagnosis of UTI. My symptoms were so severe and I knew it was more serious that a simple uti. I was actually in sepsis and the next day I went into Ascension ER who saw me right away and ultimately gave me emergency surgery which saved my life. I will never go back to St David's. I am a young oth... read more

This place nearly killed me. I had surgery there and could NOT recover. I went back to the ER three times. I was vomiting, had no appetite, etc. They accused me of being a "drug seeker". Another doctor accused me of "thinking myself sick". Finally, on the third trip, the administrator came to me to apologize and asked, "We've sent you home three times and you've come back three times and we still don't know what's wrong with you??? This ends today. You are being admitted. I checked and you've never been to any other hosp... read more

I arrived at the emergency room around 11 and i'm still here at 3:25. It might be an American healthcare system thing vs. their actual fault. Also not sure if this is nor or if they were just swamped today but if you can avoid this hospital please do. And that's sad that we have to think about which hospital to go to as we are in pain because they move so slow!

The ER nurse practitioner who was assigned to me was impolite and seemed as if he didn't care about my experience as a patient or about my well being. I came in with chest pain/ pressure and shortness of breath. However, I did not even see a clinician until he was ready to discharge me home. He declined to listen to my lung sounds or heart sounds and did not ask me any questions about my symptoms. Before discharging me, I had to specifically ask him to listen to my lungs and he had to go back to his desk to grab his stet... read more

Surgery went well, but I had a very mean nurse and the pharmacy failed to dispense my mood stabilizer until I had an emotional crash. Then it was "Oops, sorry." Awful experience.
