Last week our air conditioner was replaced (very timely considering the heat wave this week). 2 days after that the team of Matt and Matt came to inspect and clean out our ducts. All these people were professional , knowledgeable and courteous. Everything was explained, our questions answered and the job was VERY thorough. I had a very good experience with everyone at Specialty Heating and Cooling. They gave us a straight forward estimate to replace my old furnace and add an A/C unit. They were able to run a gas line to my kitchen for the range that was being replaced. It was a very clean install. Their crew did a very good job cleaning up. Very good customer service. I really enjoyed working with them.
I got 3 bids to install a new AC unit. Specialty was the best. Their price was good but there technical expertise is what sold me. They were careful with all details about size, installation, and answered all my questions. I read in my research that the number one problem with AC breakdowns is bad installation. With Specialty I knew I was not going to have that problem.
I love this company. I got a new gas furnace, AC and gas water heater plus some new duct work. They let me know when they would come out, send me text and email reminders and called roughly 15min before they were here. We wouldn't call anyone else! Came out today when our furnace stopped working. Moved things around to get a tech out ASAP since we have small kids in the house. Tech said igniter was bad and would cost around $450 for the service call, parts and labor. Had to have heat for the littles so gave the ok. When he was all done came in and gave us wonderful news. Kurt was a pleasure to work with. He was timely, professional, friendly and effective. He came at the beginning of the appointment windows, got right to assessing the problem and resolved my furnace issues quickly and effectively. He also took the time to change my air filters - great customer service! Waking up on a chilly day to your furnace not working is not fun! Fortunately for me, when it happened to me today, I called Specialty. They had a repair person out within 90 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty igniter), went out to his truck to get a replacement part, and had it installed in short order. My house is nice and toasty again! He also checked my thermostat and verified that the wiring was compatible with a new Nest thermostat (which I intend to get). I highly recommend them!

Good experiences with the technicians but the customer service is very poor. My experience is very different than others posted here.
We just had a ductless system installed by Specialty and couldn't be happier with the professionalism of this company. From Eric who bid the job and followed through meticulously from start to finish to Jake and his crew who installed the system efficiently and professionally, leaving the house looking like nothing had changed! I would highly recommend this company. I got many bids for this job over the years and Specialty stands out in all ways. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a repair or an install.
