We just replaced our furnace with Specialty and could not be happier. Every employee was incredibly professional and genuinely nice. Cory was really quick to respond to our calls and emails when we were deciding on a model and Traison and Jeremey did a wonderful job on the installation (explained everything they were going to do and even pulled up a photo on his phone of how the new venting system would look before they began). My EMERGENCY SERVICE experience was so good, I didn't need a repair person! It's a Saturday. The temperature outside is (windchill) 8 degrees. We woke up to a furnace that wouldn't run. I set about phoning anyone who provided Saturday service. Instead of getting an answering service ( like most), I reached David at Specialty. He was so knowledgeable that my husband and I were able to de-ice the condensation line ourselves. On a freezing day like today, they have much more pressing problems to repair, I'm sure! Excellent service! Heater went out just when it started to get cold. It was a Thursday afternoon and I needed it fixed. Monday was not an option. I called specialty and they came out the next morning. After taking a look at the heater they found it was a drainage issue from the a/c unit. Instead of charging me for parts I didn't need, he explained the simple procedure to fix it, did it and told me how to fix it in the future. I love an honest company and the price was right. 5 stars

Hottest day in September (record highs for the summer)...guess what craps out?? Of course, the A/C! So, I give Specialty H&C a call early in the morning...can you help me out...got a medical condition that's going to be problematic without A/C? Yes they can!! We were told by another company that we were in need of a new furnace who then sent a salesperson out to try to sell us a furnace. So we decided to get some other bids on the furnace. When I told the person on the phone at Specialty about how we wanted to be totally sure that we actually NEEDED a new furnace, he offered to have the consultant check it out for us. We needed a new furnace and found this company based on the great Yelp reviews. Cory responded promptly and we had a new furnace within a week. They use Carrier products which seem to be very reliable. Install technicians were very professional and clean. We had a call from Cory to follow up after the job was done. Excellent service!!

Great Service! AC in our Lake Oswego home stopped working after 20 years so I figured it would have to be replaced. Called Specialty Heating & Cooling, and was able to have a service person, Greg, come next day. Within 20 minutes of his on time arrival the next day he had the problem (a blown capacitor) diagnosed and repaired. Charges were reasonable. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend this company.
