The short story -- they were able to fit me in the same day, and the technician came and got our heat pump (air conditioning) working promptly. Our heat pump died the week before July 4th, and I found that the breaker was tripped and I couldn't get it reset. I replaced the breaker, and the new one tripped again. Speciality Heating & Cooling is amazing. I can see why they are a trusted vendor by so many. We purchased a Carrier system (heat pump, A/C, complete duct work in a home that had NEVER had any!, and removal and replacement of our attic insulation). Mark Piscitelli is warm and engaging. Amazing company! They took care of all our needs. We even told them that we did not like our thermostat and they came back out and exchanged it for a more expensive and better thermostat and did not charge us. They have great customer service and we are extremely happy with the end result. We even had the city inspector tell us that he works with a lot of companies and Specialty Heating and Cooling does great work and that we made a great choice! Highly recommend this company!

So far my experience with Specialty Heating & Cooling has been excellent. When I contacted them, regarding an estimate for a new furnace, they were very professional and helpful on the phone. They set up an appointment for me right away- somebody then came out to our house, basically the next day, to give us a free estimate. Nic Sferrazza came out and did our estimate for us. No issues whatsoever with having Specialty install a new high efficiency gas furnace in my home. Nic Sferrazza came by and we talked about the options, I pretty much knew what I wanted, so I really appreciated that he let that be and did not go into pushy salesman mode. Very polite and considerate. The day of the installation came and went very smoothly, the guys did a great job with a tight, clean installation. I certainly recommend Specialty Heating for a new furnace upgrade.

We just bought our first house a few months ago. Furnace is original (about 15 years old) and didn't have an A/C. I is Winter now, but I am a total wuss during the summer if it gets above 75 degrees. Nic came out to our house and checked everything out. He gave us all of the options that we asked about (new furnace, heat pump, A/C, filters, everything). Great service. They arrived both times exactly when agreed, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it as soon as possible. Only 4stars as the price was pretty steep. $250 to replace one small sensor that took 90 seconds to swap out. My experience all furnace repair shops charge the same, so I did not rate lower. They need a standards set of rates like the auto industry, so you know what to expect.
When Cori came to my house to provide me an estimate for a new furnace, I immediately knew that I was dealing with a serious company. I let him know about my issues with the heating in the house and he took the time to go around the house and down into the crawl space to check for potential problems.
