The building is set up like a little town. Right when you walk in there are "streets" and then rooms are set up like little buildings. For example the snack room is called the snack shop. They also have a hair salon. It is a great set up! We liked that there were maybe 1 or 2 people who took care of mom instead of rotating staff every single day. Once I placed [name removed] in Pacifica Springs her health improved tremendously. When she left the hospital I was told she would never walk again and would be wheelchair dependent . After PSL set her up with a visit from the hospice providers she made incredible strides. They removed her from medicines she didn't need and was walking with a walker in 2 weeks. Unfortunately she passed away there but the care and attention they gave her was worth it! I am forever grateful for the help they gave us.

I hadn't clarified if the facility was equipped for transportation to appointments, but we are doing our best on both ends to accommodate necessary outings. The only other thing that comes to mind is better communication between the staff; but I try to be proactively involved with the care, and try to ensure we're all on the same page

The food looks good and healthy. The activities were extraordinary. The value is great compared to other places. We picked this community because when we toured it, they were very friendly, gracious, it was clean, there was no smell and the residents were well taken care of. The care received was amazing. They were attentive, kind, compassionate, and I have nothing negative to say. I would highly recommend. It's an amazing facility.

This facility is good overall. The staff is very friendly and engaging. They're also consistent, not a lot of turnover with staff here. That tells me they must like it here. Housekeeping is weekly and they do a good job. They do have a hairdresser, but she only works one day a week and it's hard to get an appointment. One suggestion I have is giving the family a direct contact name and phone# to speak with about concerns and updates.
