My wife and I did a lot of research. My mom has always been a very social person so we wanted to find a community where she would have things to do and be able to meet new friends. The director we met with was so compassionate and understanding. When she took us around the community she said Hi to each one of the residents by name, you could see that she loved them. Pacifica Senior Living Spring Valley is amazing! The lady who gives the tours is kind, empathetic and knows just what my loved one needed. I had lots of questions when making a decision about how best to help my dad when he needed more care than I could give him. She not only answered my questions but helped me feel at peace about my decision to seek a place for him with 24/7 care. The environment is like a cruise ship, not like an institution. Caregivers are dedicated and loving. Food is healthy and appetizing. My brother was a big eater. I was always kept in the loop on everything. Management was accessible and responsive. One of the best parts for me was the business manager who filed claims documents to perfection and made my life so easy. Thank you!!!

It's all so robotic, very sad. Having more of a personal touch would be a good improvement. Maybe prepare food that is flavorful, add some heart when preparing. Obviously, taking into consideration nutritional needs.
I'm very pleased with Pacifica Senior Living Spring Valley community. I would like it easier if they had a way to add to their portal the medications my mom is on. And costs. I see the bills. But it's just not clear. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families.
