Everyone makes mistakes in life. If you use this company, you are making the BIGGEST MISTAKE of your life and will live to regret it. Like some of the other reviews, I unfortunately have to use them as they bought out my original solar company. These people are out for one thing, your money. I have experience with this company bc the house we purchased had solar panels on which we took over the lease. They have been awful to work with. With late statements, false late fees, and even false statements claiming they were unpaid and threatening to submit to debt collector. All of which have been paid with a current balance of zero and proof of banking statements. Upon trying to talk to someone via chat which resulted me in having to call the number provided. This company is a complete scam. they purchased a previous solar panel contract and since then have been completely lying and essentially stealing ! My panels are not producing but spruce says they are (sometimes - their story is always changing). They never answer phone or emails. They don't send out techs to fix the panels yet they keep billing. I agree that we need to start a lawsuit
This company is disgusting! I originally joined with nrg and once this company bought everything went downhill! My solar panel are not working properly!! Zero production, zero call backs! Customer service matches the service! Total nightmare! This is a scam and it needs to go!

absolutely the friggin worst company to do business with…i cannot express the degree of frustration i have experienced with this bullshit company….if i was not in a lease agreement that is attached to my title i would run as far and as fast as i could to get away from these crooks. Spruce Power might be an illegitimate company. My experience with Spruce Power began when I purchased a house with leased solar panels that were inoperable at the time. The holder of the lease being Spruce Power were unable to create an account in my name ,being the new owner of the house. Late charges on bills that are received 3 days before they are due. Their late fees are now $25!! Their solution: online billing and payment! Giving customers no choice to submit payment via USPS and it received on time. Their bills state the following: "If you are mailing a check for your payment, please send 2 weeks in advance to ensure we receive the payment and allow time to have it credited to your solar account." Extremely disorganized and chaotic customer service. Billing is a horrorshow. Both our inverters went out in January 2022. It took them until September to get them replaced. Meantime, our bills kept coming, showing "production" - during the months it wasn't producing! We are in the process of attempting to get their production logs, which should show actual production, but it's like pulling teeth.
