Let me preface my saying that I almost never write customer reviews, however the service by Spruce is so bad that I felt obligated. In short, absolute worst customer service ever! My solar service has been non-functional for 12 months on a system for which that I still having to make lease payments. The replacement part is not expected for another 4 months (from their preferred parts vendor) and Spruce refuses to get the part from a different vendor (likely related to cost). I called several times late 2022 Oct-Dec in an attempt to have someone come out to service my panels as I did not believe the were "producing". I was told they would not be able to service them until my inverter was replaced, which was on backorder. Once the inverter came in mid-March of 2023, it was installed and tech informed us the panels were not producing and needed another part. which took another 2 months to get replaced. We have 26 panels and 17 of these doesn't work for a few months already and I can't make them to fix it. I am still paying monthly for leasing them. And have electricity bill is going up. Terriblle service or no service at all. Called them so many times but nobody is calling back. Fraud company!

If I could give no stars, I would. This company is criminal. I had been trying to reach anyone regarding an incorrect bill (being charged for 5 months credit as per Sun Nation equaling roughly $350) I called twice to try to remedy this and the support team has not been helpful, at all. Since September: * I have had problems with my inverter since SEPTEMBER 2022 * Sun Nation installed inverter on 3/10 (due to a host of issues on their end). It’s the worst company that unfortunately I have to deal with. I signed up for email my bill, but never receive until I call each month to remind them. Then if you ask for a physical bill is the worst. The due date is the 1st of the month, but I ALWAYS get it no earlier than the 27th of the month. How do I send out on time? Of course there is a late fee. If you want to call in to pay for then there is a convenience fee. The billing system is so bad that I definitely cannot trust them to auto pay. The CEO and all upper management should be behind bars for their deceitful business practices, billing inconsistencies and their lack of taking any ownership for things promised. I do feel terrible for their customer service reps who are handcuffed to getting any vital or necessary information which the answer is always, "that info is from our billing department" which they can't even access because it is off site. I want to rip the panels of the roof and jam them up the CEO's A$$! No stars but have to put one.

If possible, I will give no star. Spruce power (Solar panel company) is a fraud of a company. We purchased our home in 2020, and inherited these solar panels from the home owner, unknowing to us that it was a lease and the excitment of buying a new home clouded our minds and we did not read the contract in depth. The solar panels worked for about 2-3 months ae monthly bills coming. We were making the monthly payment and also our electricity bill which became very high. The bills are never correct or arrive late and they charge you a late fee for it being late. this month for example, the bills are due July 1, we did not receive the bill as of june 22. I emailed them on the 22nd to notify them and told them to email the bill, which i did rcv on the 23rd. The balance on my bill was 0.00. i lease my panels and the amount is always the same but every month is a different amount.
