I have been, trying, to work with Spruce Solar Company for over four years. They are unresponsive, uncooperative, leave you on hold for over an hour, if you do get someone on the line all they will do is take a message, can't escalate to a supervisor to resolve, charge you $25 late fees because they are not sending invoices to the proper address, and the list goes on. Spruce is the most incompetent business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They bought out our solar contract (which we had no say in) then, unbeknownst to us, proceeded to bill the previous owner for a year and a half. I was quite surprised to receive a bill for $1500 from them out of the blue with threats of sending me to creditors. WORST COMPANY YOU CAN DO BUSINESS WITH. Since January I been trying to contact these people regarding the box not working and for someone to come and fix it. I also been contacting them to do auto pay to simple being put on hold for hours and then get disconnected. Like everyone else on this platform, I have been struggling to get billing errors corrected for months now. Just found out my panels generated 0 power since 11/2020 yet I was still getting billed. So now I have to pay 100% of energy charges to Edison and fight with this company for a refund. Like everyone else here, I am just told to wait for a call back. Awful. I do not think the business exists. They just took our money and did nothing when the solar panels were offline. It took two people working shifts to get them on the phone then they hung up. Horrible.
Sold a home 8 months ago. They will not sign the contact over to the new owner. They could afford to buy a $350,000 house but can’t afford the monthly solar bill. Unbelievably ridiculous! Worst solar company ever, No one seems to know what is going on or how to solve my issue.
Spruce power customer service is terrible. I’m a senior trying ti refiniance my reverse Morg. Too get sone addl funds. They gave the loan officer and myself a bad time. Different excuse to delay the process. I hav never never been treated like this
Bought a house and took over the solar contract. The box does not turn on and I can’t get this company to send someone out to inspect it. I will look into rip off and ftc to report them
Read every review on this site and you’ll know exactly what my problem is. This company is the worst. Complete runaround every time you call never a call back no one can make a decision no one has any information not one department contacts the other there’s no communication in the company other than get your money. I’m seriously considering hiring someone to dismantle the entire system and mail it back to Spruce.
